LooiKS, the main thing is to be young at heart and fit bodied ... You know, I could be older than you ...

Now still doing maximum of 240 kg on leg extension, I am, when fully warmed up ... 120 kg on each leg ... Nobody in that entire gym, them 20+, 30+ year old guys, including the massive-biceped gym 'instructors', can beat me on that machine, dude ...

Daughters are better la ... Lower price, same profit ... So which one give better ROI? ...

Just do your maths ... Don't simply keep shouting 'buy, buy, buy' ... LOL

'Taking profit' is good if one confident that a stock has already reached or nearly reached its peak ...

But Suma is still well away from reaching its peak ... At the rate that it's going now, RM1 around end of year is quite easily achievable ...

So if one exits now, one is merely 'taking some profit', but NOT 'making maximum profit' ... Vast difference there ...

This not about being 'greedy' ... But it's about 'investing optimally' ...

Really ... But you know, Pearl, you're now throwing away the chance to earn even more ... coz Suma is stil rising strongly ... It's still got plenty of upside ...

When I first started playing Suma, pre-RI I had only 200k ... That means I've made 300 k, in only 10 months ... including profits from RI and the attached Free WB ...

It's going to RM1 around end of year, and you're exiting too early ... And if you come back in later at a higher price than you sold, you've lost a few sens per unit already, at least ...

DH : I seconded your view... suma have been slowly inching upwards all this while... its abt time it will spike sharply where those selling early can only have it at higher price. Still, we are not in the position to say if its gonna up or down... cheers

Like I said, with a strongly rising stock, the easier and safer thing to do, is just to hold ...

Tell you what, Colin. If you really wanna know the answer, this is at you can do. Let's just say that you now hv 100 big lots. You could sell, 10, 15 or 20 big lots, say at 56 ...

No one can say for sure which way it's gonna go this afternoon or Monday, whether up or down ...

If you're in luck, you might be able to buy back at 54, let's just say ...

But if not, you might hv to buy back at 58 later, let's just say ... It's a tough call, I know, but it's your own call ...

Being in 2 or 3 minds occasionally is quite normal ... It has happened to me too, as I described earlier ...

Well, gotta contemplate and ruminate on it for a while, hopefully eventually you will come to a judgement and decision of your own ... Which is what one has to learn to do if one is gonna survive and grow as investor ...

As long as there is a strong, credible story backed up with facts and figures, and verifiable evidence of increasingly healthy performance, a pretty long run can self-sustain, with occasional minor pullbacks or corrections ...

The majority of us here know about that already ... They what they hv to do ... not need to fret or fear for them ...

If I had not sold out twice and slipped up, having to scramble and buy back in at a higher price after selling out, becoz the stock shot up higher again, I would still be holding 1,250 big lots of WB now ...

But becoz I did what I did, I'm only left with 1,010 big lots now ... Substantial, pretty substantial, reduction in profit ...

Well then, there ya go ...

Taking profit might not be the best thing to do, each and every time ... Quite often, actually, especially with a still strongly rising stock, it could be better to just hold, and wait for an even bigger profit quantum ...

Well, you know me, Conn ... pretty efficient predator, I am ... LOL
