I agree. My time in this EG forum made me realise why the world sometimes have war regardless 1000 years ago or 1000 years later. Because even if people are peacefully minding their own business investing in EG, there will always be troublemakers and smart aleck who make things up as it comes along without facts and cause disturbance for the sake of it. Actually, i wanted to be quiet on EG until it rebounds itself to silence the naysayers. However, the level of nonsensical comments is so bewildering i found it hard to believe how ignorant people who does not even have the slightest ability and aptitude to analyse a stock and financial report share their wrong view with so much conviction. EG just delivered a RECORD results. The share price is worth more than RM1. PE ratio is only below 8x. Revenue + Profit improve so much. While EG is good, they have 2 weakness, 1 - no dividend 2- rights issue. It would be awesome, if the company can declare dividend + expand with own funds. But that is what growth stock is. You need funds to grow fast so you issue the rights.Market operators dont like rights they sell off cause they dont want to take out additional money to buy the rights issue. MBSB issue rights, fell to 78 sens then rebounded today. Clearly, the share price is falling due to overall market falling. Nothing to do with the naysayers comments. So dont think for a moment it is because you naysayers are right. At least the company is using rights issue to expand the company and not to pay off bad debts. Look at big picture and long term. Not through a narrow tunnel vision. I said my piece. Let the share price show.
