If head share remain at 1.42 and exercise price 1.34 then warrant worth 8c

usually the head share determine the warrant price. In this case it seems to go the otherway.

Although I did not come first at the competition, I have learn some lessons. I was surprised to see that all other competitors had help from outside via sms. Malaysia boleh. The poor me who had been out of the country for too long was trying hard to compete by myself. Although I ended up top 15 I had learn some skill.

Just let you all know. I am new to Bursa. I was a CFO for an overseas listed property company and was group financial controller for an overseas fund management company for some years. I decided to trade in Bursa after I participated at the grand finale of Kenanga-Bursa share trading competition in Nov 15. Unlike other markets, the trading in Malaysia is bit like a casino. Fundamental often doesn't work.

SMS from MS: JHM Technical buy with +25.3% potential return
2016-01-18 14:27 | Report Abuse
I like JHM despite its capital expenditure over the previous two quarters. Unfortunately, capital expenditure is a necessary evil in high tech manufacturing and property company. My experience is telling me that the Board would require the CFO to show them the ROC before they would approve capital expenditure. Hopefully, JHM has a damn good CFO. I believe JHM is heading the right direction. Having said that however, the share price of JHM will be at the mercy of the market trend in the shorter term. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

According to my projection this company is likely to announce a record profit for 2015 of between $5.7 and $.6.25m. As it's revenue is still growing above 20% each quarter, I expect the PE to be trading around between 14-16. Hence TP between 64c to 77c. I suspect there might be dividend distribution this year too,

In case the CFO of L&G is reading this, If no resolution was passed at the last AGM for the share buy back, I suggest that a share buy back resolution be put to the shareholders at the up coming AGM. The current share price is well under its net tangible asset. It could possibly be a takeover target.

If the CFO of L&G is of any good, He/she would have recommended to the board to buy back some of their own shares to enhance the value of the shareholders. That was what I did when I was the CFO of an overseas listed property company.

The recent devaluation of RM$ against US$ is definitely good for O&G counters. More importantly this counter has enough order in their book to keep them busy for the next two years. Oil prices is likely to remain low for the next year or so. Whether this counter would out perform or not is dependence on their ability to gain more contracts over the coming months.

Yes I agreed that dividend yield and the NAV are the price influencing factor rather than the PE for a property company like L&G. Notice that I mentioned that it is a safe counter rather than an undervalue counter. In time of uncertainty it is safer to hold on to the shares of a company that is trading below it's NAV with a dividend yield that is higher than the bank. If L&G maintains its increase in profit over the next two quarters, it is highly likely that the company will double its dividend and hence double the yield (from my experience as an ex CFO of listed property companies for 13 years). Hence my recommendation to accumulate.

L&G is a safe counter. It is trading below its NAB of 57c with historical yield of 3.77%. It is likely that the dividend will be increased as a result of increase in profit this financial year. Accumulate

88m warrants were issued. 47m change hand today. If head share fall below 1.34 no one will exercise the warrant. I expect the organising broker to support the shares above 1.34
