rizerlee, AA always able to come out with new plan to counter their forex loss. In previous, AA have sales and lease back aircraft plan.

Now the leasing plan to its associate seem managed to reduce its forex loss to limited on 27% of its total US loan.

If not for unforeseen circumstance as of now, perhaps AA should able to found support level on 1.30 or above.

One need to weigh which one is playing the major role now.

Fundamental doesn't work now as external factor and internal factor getting deteriorate. But l still believe in long term for fundamental.

I'm prepared for worst to come when Brent oil price drop below US40/barrel.

For prediction, mmss is doing the good job. He sometimes predict the right thing but l'm not always trust fully.

I expected 5 to 10% drop today due to all foreign fund is rush for selling but it is a bit low somehow.

One of reason l think AA foresee the US appreciating, it is good time to accelerating the sale and lease back aircraft to increase gain, paring down debt and also mitigate appreciating forex loss due to USD strengthening.

AA targeting to have net cash gain of US 2.5 billion for sale and lease back 120 aircraft in 10 years period. But for the 2rd quarter alone they managed to sale and lease back 10 aircraft. Indeed a very fast speed considering the costly aircraft price.

mmss, we can then compare each other estimate in forex loss for 3rd quarter .

This quarter AA managed to sell and lease back 10 aircraft. Base on the previous info, AA is targeting to have 20 aircraft to be on sale and lease back. Seem they are accelerating the sale and lease activities as the number of aircraft they secured in sale and lease for this quarter is 10. If AA manage the same pace in sale and lease activity as of 2nd Q in 3rd Q, the debt will be greatly pare down. The forex loss can also be mitigated.

If i asking you what is ur target price, if u answered, later somebody comment back that why u simply shooting up the target price. Is that wrong l express my own target price here? Is RM2.10 within one year is unreasonable with the condition l stated?
