Risk is always there - striking oil or not. But they have many drilling licences and I am very confident they will. Price will be derived on the RECOVERABLE oil. If Oman alone stike oil, Could be RM5, could be RM10, or higher. Until they drill and do analysis should they find oil on the recoverable oil, only then will they be able to value the asset.

But you have to value the company Longer term with ALL the licences, Proprietary Technology and most importantly strong and sound management team they have. See what they have achieved in 2 1/2 years alone since listing.

How many companies in Bursa can do this so soon? Compare CLIQ and SONA? Where are there? And please don't compare Sumatec? There is not a shred of similarity.

So - moral of this Hibiscus story - you decide. Are you an investor or a speculator.

Happy88 - I did not. Rex is now diversifying into other fields of business areas so they are venturing and exposing themselves to other risk elements. Their existing technology is the proven one. This is now tied up with Hibiscus and is the one that is bring value to Rex. I am not sure about the other fields they are venturing. Could turn out very positive, as the famous saying goes... No risk no gains... But I have not going to jump in just yet until I know more about Rex new ventures. I know enough about their drilling technology and Lime and of course Hibiscus.

I put this very plain to you guys here. They already have oil reserves in Australia. They have not produced yet. The counter already have fair value for this but that will not be factored now as it is for future They also have further known reserved there which will only be made known once their MOPU in in operational. It is only timing...2015.So that is safe bet irrespective of Middle East operations. Plus they have Norway and Hirex. USD10 million invested in Hirex for 10% of shares even without any revenue yet. That is what you risk and pay for technology...

Oman is NOW. The plan is for 2 wells in Middle East. Oman is first. If it goes well and its a biggie, the counter will FLY like no tomorrow. you will not be able to catch your breath as it will limit up couple of times before it reach an optimum price...could be RM5, Rm7, RM10, Who knows, it all depends on how much oil they find. Chances of finding oil - their technology is very reliable according to their claim and also backed with their blind test. Norway is not an easy place to get concession as the Norwegian government have to fund 78% of your exploration expenses. So they must be very sure you are not wasting their tax payer money. Hibiscus have been grated so many production licenses there. It is only a matter of time, Hibiscus will move in there for exploration. Their cost there - 22% on the exploration. Why not now? OMAN field has the HIGHEST yield in terms off oil recoverable.

So - banking on this, it is safe at current levels of RM2. Downside risk limited, upside gains....you can smell the money.

The gains are for exchange rate gains and filtration of Hirex - JV of hibiscus and Rex - where investor commited to invested USD10 million for 10% shares. They have put in some investment and this is now captured in the books.

Better news - heard drilling may start this weekend. Getting ready my for a goooooood weekend. As an earliest one in this counter, you have to have patience..you are already at the finishing line for the first operational drill. Stay cool....

Drillling results announced in 30 days in normal and typical. But the guys on the rig will know sooner. Communication will be shut out to the rest of the world, so we will not know lah....that is the reality.
