You won’t do any good among the die- hard PBB fans. No harm trying if it’s your style.

Shearer202, ...you just slow slow wait for your 3.50. No need to burst your vein, keep your cool. There is plenty of room for you at the shed.

I know how important shares are to some people . I heard of a Malaysian student in London who ate Maggie mee from March to September 2020. Then her father couldn’t raise enough fund to pay for her uni fees( his PBB dividend wasn’t available) she was advised to return home. She cooked Kuih, Naci lemak and goreng mee, put the orders through Facebook etc. My daughter’s group of friends supported her as well as all the other Malaysian students they could find. They had the best CNY with Yee San and nien gow all bought online. Now all thanks to PBB dividend, this girl didn’t have to forgo her studies.

Some people like the thrill of chasing the bucks. They are entitled to that no less. Like I said, it takes all sorts to make the world go round. It’s quite entertaining really. That’s why I like to check in every now and then.

I look at it this way, one doesn’t go and sell a member of the family if one fancy to own a limo. One sells an older car or get a rich sugar daddy... which is not unheard of. Jokes aside, one keeps PBB shares tight and buy more PBB shares from spares.

You collect now you happy. I collect twice a year, and I am happy. Buy more and sell more and make more money, it’s a game, just play it the way you like. Buy low sell high but when is low you will never know. Now you buy, now is best time. Making money is life’s enjoyment. That’s why PBB is my bank!

Since the 2008 financial crisis, some bank stocks are trading at a bargain -- a key indicator that now is the best time to invest.
I can focus on quality banks that have a strong history of managing risks and generating profits, banks can be excellent means of investing for the long term. PBB sure can!

Bank stocks are volatile and unpredictable at the best of time. At this time all banks are experiencing an upheaval which is world wide. However banks serve an important societal need, PBB is in the business to do just that. It’s there for loans and profits, it’s there to kick the economy up and to buffer the down. A basic principle if you think of it but it’s one the great Warren Buffett lives by. Now if it is good enough for him it is surely good enough for me.

Buy PBB, a blue chip investment and hold tight for long term. Buy more PBB or something new and interesting when there is spare cash. PBB for a secure future. Viva PBB!

Well said 1invest1. Your sentiments and dedication to PBB is to be commended. A friend with a helping hand for the newbies. With you and other above mentioned sifus this is a top place to come to learn. Thank you. Have a great weekend.

Well said@sharefisher. This generation still have teachers and influencers except while the teachers need to show academic credentials the Influences have to do great TicToc videos. You learn from the teachers you learn from the influencers you learn from Maria Carey, your choice. But ultimately you learn it for yourself, you are the hero, right? Heroes come in many forms.

Good morning. Welcome to this counter, @joanhung. Listen to sifus like 1invest1, allyoucanbuy, shareinvest etc who are giving out genuine advice due to their experience with PBB. If it is a solid long term investment you are looking for this is the best bet. Great blue chip especially in Malaysia, like most banks. Every sector has been affected by the pandemic, good or bad. Top Gloves has it’s win at the height but with vaccination and the ‘slavery’ claim is on the down of it’s cycle. Short term if you are chasing a small gain. Personally I go for long term with more security and dividend, I have PBB and three foreign bank shares because I learnt from the bests( some of them went through wars and hard recession). Biotech companies are great but they are slightly expensive at the moment. Go for gold mines, go in when they are still cheap. When this is all over the people will want to buy gold jewellery for weddings and other celebrations.

Thank you 1invest1, Sharefisher and Un Ki. Learnt from the bests. While it worked for them and for me, no reason to change.

Make sure to buy shares with spare money because the fd interest is disgustingly low. When you are young and working and have spare money then best to buy pbb shares. No need to live on tender hooks, because it is quietly making money for you. You can reinvest the dividend money getting more shares ( your choice) or buy a new phone or an electric car. Yes! Reinvesting is great for a rainy day and as an superannuation. It helps also to have spares to gift to your family.
If you are into speculation then the thrill is in the chasing for a few quid here and there. Nothing wrong with that, still need a steady income from your job or long term faithful like pbb. You make money for the broker every time you buy or sell. I leave that with my financial planner, she gets paid to chase the bucks for me.

Veteran investors know to buy and hold for the long term. However the most successful investors know its NOW time to accumulate their current positions AND pick up some bright, new opportunities. Hold tight to PBB and keep eyes wide open, don’t mind the distractions as they are just inexperienced young guns, all talk but no substance.

Trollbumsmith: my sincere advice don’t act as a pain in the backside and we won’t treat you like one. Learning from the Sifus in the forum would be a skill you’re so privileged to get. Like they say it’s a free world out there, you can choose to stay and learn something or you can act the monkey and stay a complete class fool. It’s your choice. My health will not be affected but merely get a sideshow from a class clown. Hahaha, love the dividend from PBB.

Well said all. My parents bought blue chip shares like PBB with spare money. That’s for their spending money when old. They passed down the saving principles and the shares to us. We also hold tight tight. Any spare money also go buy more Pb shares as well as some speculation. No need to go crazy over a short term up or down. Looking forward to the PBB ang pow also.

Agreed, Pbb is the best. FD has very low interest, if any. Better to spend the money in Pbb and earn a dividend than a car which tends to depreciate.

Thanks for the warning,1invest1. Saw through shearer202 and the likes thru n thru. They came from the rubbery ends. When their prices go up they want buyers so they can sell. They stirred up other counters, making silly statements which they repeated all around. I have seen the likes of them creating havocs in Genting and AirAsia. They have little care but themselves. Well PBB fans have little time for them.
