Very simple common sense again, if I were the big shark, assuming no any announcement and news, one day I absorb 50m shares from the shorties (idss) that have shorted, but I don't intend to sell first, but keep, then if idss need to cover the position, they need to but back in the same day, then the share price will definitely up 3cents at least for 50mil shares. But days by days, and months by months, never see those shorties buy back, mostly they sign SBL agreement to cover their positions

Buying back on the shares from the idss that they shorted, will not appear in the idss volume, but will only appear in total volume

Maybe someone over smart one should ask and double confirm with his remisier then only comment

PETALING JAYA: Bumi Armada Bhd shares were down after investors digested the news that the company has refinanced its debts.

The counter fell 2.5 sen or 9.26% to 24.5 sen by the end of the trading day on a volume of 482.5 million shares.

It had seen a surge in share price by some 30% to 27 sen after opening at 20.5 sen with very strong volumes on Wednesday.

In its report yesterday, CGSCIMB said with the successful debt refinancing exercise, an equity issuance would no longer be necessary, but it noted that BAB still has “a long to-do” list.

The oil and gas company announced earlier this week that it had successfully restructured US$660mil of borrowings that are due almost immediately. They are made up of US$380mil of unsecured term loans and US$280mil of revolving credit facilities with a tranche (US$260mil) to be repaid over two years and another tranche (US$400mil) that will be repaid over five years.

“We congratulate the BAB team for being tough negotiators, as we believe that all of the banks involved would have wanted their money back. Ultimately they were forced to extend the repayment deadlines as BAB’s major shareholders resisted a rights issue,” said CGSCIMB, which upgraded the stock to “hold” from “reduce” or “sell” and a target price of 29 sen.It said that the sum-of-parts valuation of 36 sen remained unchanged but it had factored in a discount of 20% to derive a new target price of 29 sen.

“This discount is applied as interest costs will be much higher post refinancing and BAB continues to face heightened execution risks in terms of the asset monetisation exercise and uncertainty over whether the Armada Kraken can resolve its uptime issues permanently,” it said.

Anyway, the way I see it today, since still got so many shorties everyday, I think today price will drop again, or else remain the price around this level, unlikely will rebound

Actually this debt refinancing is considered quite a positive news, but the share price movement up just a bit only, really speechless

If you guys still not believe, if you today got observe carefully, idss volume already hitting 100m before noon closing, then afternoon session, idss keep increasing till 144.3mil till time around 4.20pm,but still not much buying volume to cover the position, only u sell me a bit n I buy u abit trading pattern again till 4.45pm, then market closing, never see such idss buy back to cover their positions

In fact this is not the first time, already 5months keep repeating the same again n again, if those who really alert then can see this actually

If you all think that you are the shareholders of Armada, and if you want to have a fair trading, kindly make a complaint on this, otherwise we are all cheated by those big sharks n shorties

Actually this Armada operators are very cunning, they already fished the shorties to short earlier at lesser volume, but then the shorties stepped in into this dangerous hole until the hole deeper n deeper n even deeper till cannot return back, but must keep continue shorting to prevent the price going up, if not suffering Huge loss

FYI, only RSS , PDT and IDSS are governed by bursa only, but this SBL-NT not governed by bursa but under SBL

I strongly believe these shorties are from the gang of people, and they MOSTLY are using both idss and sbl-nt

Which means they don't need to buy back first, just sign sbl agreement with the shares lenders

(Kindly take note that , if you have excess Armada shares but no trading, you can put it into sbl and lend it to borrowers to earn the lending fees and interests, by just signing the sbl agreement with borrowers only).

As for idss, if they failed to buy back or close position within the same day, they can also sign the sbl agreement with the lender also

So, you can imagine how much shares the big shark has already absorbed?

If shorties really buy back the shares while big shark has already collected those shorties shares, the price already move up very much from now

Can you all imagine, if idss traders shorted 100mil shares while big shark and retailers not selling, and if idss traders needed to buy back to cover the position within the same day, what would be the price?

Its easily can up 5 cents in a day.

Honestly, I have been observing the trading pattern from December 2018 till now, never miss a single day, I always see shorties keep shorting then never buy back ( for idss only), if u all think that idss traders got buy back, then u all should actually obersve very very very carefully

Tc, in fact u all should report too, the more people report, they will take it more seriously

Actually today can nearly get the idss for suspended, just need another 31mil of idss shares then can suspend for one day, but I think this Armada operator purposely don't want let the idss being suspended
