Today, all steel counters run up. This counter, a laggard, also moves up to 30/30.5 sen now.
When the tides comes, all ships and boats are swept up. Operators will decide how the game is played.

Anyhow, it has dropped to an attractive level where a meaningful rebound is within sight once mkt sentiment turns for the better.

Sure or not? The fact remains 29 sen is still supported by the operator so far, despite a weak mkt. Before 29 sen is broken below, no use to speculate how low the price will go.
To a great extent, operator will "dictate" where the mkt price should be, taking into account all relevant factors, including supply and demand conditions.

What is this? Queuing for 3 days already...still cannot get anything done at 9.5 sen when it is so close and yet so far...

It finally crosses 20 sen, after so much suppression by the operator. Is this a pre-budget day play on construction counters?
Maybe, we will have a clearer picture in the next few days...

Now, u can see the true "colours" of Blameuse. When the price was on its way up to 35.5 sen, he did not bring up all these. Now that he has sold his shares, he starts to talk about the "dirty things".
Ha Ha What a "smart" guy! Whether what he says is true or not is another thing.

If you cannot stomache the volatility in the share price, my advice for you is to stay out of this counter.
Also, this counter is not suitable for a longer-term hold if steel price does not exhibit a sustained recovery in price.

Share prices will rebound when selling eventually dries up. That is the point where operator will push up share prices to a more realistic level.
2016-10-11 11:24 | Report Abuse
When mkt is bad, operator will push down share prices to collect. As to how low the share price will go, it all depends on how much selling it can induce. More pp sell, the price will go lower.

Logically, so long as the govt steel sector safeguard measures are in place, the share prices for steel counters "should" remain supported.

The whole mkt is very weak. Even Vivocom International is at "rock-bottom" prices, I would say steel counters like Hiap Teck are still doing not too bad.

Queuing at 9.5 sen and lower to collect, but still not done...

This counter has registered 2 consecutive quarters of profit, despite a loss for the financial year. So long as steel prices remain supported, it will benefit and its share price should rebound too, after these bouts of selling.

This warrant has fallen back to 9.5 sen. With its expiry date in 2021, it is time to accumulate this warrant for the next upswing.

I would think so. Could be as early as next Tue.

33 sen is the resistence-turned-support level. If this price can hold, then it will be able to go higher. Or else, it will fall back to previous levels.

Yesterday, most steel counters were down amidst a broadly weak mkt going into a public holiday next Monday. The fact that it did not end at day's low augurs well for the counter. Steel theme is still in play after some consolidation.

Chart-wise, it is now moving horizontally along a narrow bollinger band, waiting for a breakout, hopefully, higher.

I think the operator is very happy and comfortable with the current state of affairs. No intention to disturb this equilibrium yet. He can continue to collect mother share at 6.5 sen(in small quantity though) while buyers will pay half a sen higher for his pocket money.
To break out of this arrangement and move higher, we need to wait for one or more of the following to appear:
1. An improved mkt sentiment/positive corporate development;
2. An improved set of operating figures(most important);
3. A change of game plan by the operator.
This is not a casino. Operator is testing our patience.

This is a positive external event from the US. US and asian mkts have all rallied on this news. But Bursa penny stocks are muted? Operators are not seizing this opportunity to ramp up prices? It could reflect a downbeat trading environment.

Over these 2 days, the vols traded for both mother and warrant are pathetic. No active buying and selling. PDZ is in play today. Hope it can stir up interest in other penny stocks after FOMC meeting...

With today's closing at 57.5 sen on good vol, it is poised to move up....

It depends on whether the operator wants to make it a reality. I shall not want to speculate it.
But at today's closing prices, mother(7 sen) + warrant(3 sen) = subscription price for recent right issue. Anything bought below these 2 prices would really mean a bonus, cheaper than what current shareholders had paid.
Strictly not for contra playing though.

As I said, operator wanted to flush out weak and contra players during bad times. But today's low vol so far seems to suggest that these pp are already out of the mkt. If there is no more bad news from internally or externally, price should stabilise at current levels, ie operator continues to collect at 6 sen, buyers will need to pay 6.5 sen. 6 sen becomes the exclusive zone for the operator.
2016-09-15 19:41 | Report Abuse
But operator blocks it at 6 sen now....
2016-09-14 17:58 | Report Abuse
Then, long term investors should come in to scoop up "lelong" shares. This is perhaps a better time to do it. When other pp are scared, we become greedy.

Now, operator is still collecting, but at lower prices. Much will depend on the outcome of next week's FOMC meeting.

Now, we can see with our own eyes that operator starts to push both mother share and warrant lower on contra due date. With a weak mkt(lacking in buyers), operator can have his way to create sufficient vol to mislead us.
What we see on contra due date may not be the whole truth.

In a weak mkt, it is natural for operator to push down share prices to flush out weak holders.
Chartwise, we are now close to the next key support price of 18 sen, or the last lowest closing price(adjusted for the recent bonus issue), before its prices started to trend up.
