Dividend 23% is calculated base on the share par value I.e. $1.00 par value in this case. It is regardless of the current market value. Therefore 100 units = $100 and the dividend will be $100 x 23% = $23

stephy, at your almost retire age I think 2 choices for you. One is to keep the 2,000 shares in your safe and receive their yearly dividends i.e. almost RM1,000 per year if you do not need a lump sum cash. The second choice is to dispose 400 shares every year after you retired. This will provide you additional 5 years will $10,000 extra as your pocket money.

You need to buy thru the brokers if you mean 20 shares. If you mean 20 lots (2,000 shares) you can buy online.

Thanks for clarifications the lots meaning in M'sia and Singapore. I think the M'sia brokers are referring 1 lot is 100 shares as a norm and same frequency with clients. Otherwise there will be a serious chaos in KLSE.

When we buy and sell online they have a multiple of "lots" column for you to input. This "lots" means 100 shares.
This "lots" becomes confusing. Are ppl refer 1 lot = 100 shares nowadays?

Pbbank is breaking the $20 ice now! Right issue has stopped trading and share price is not under the selling pressure atm and the next leg is uptrend.

Electricity or energy price is increasing globally and M'sia should not be exempted. If M'sia government is to keep on subsidise the fuel cost, it will not be a good strategy.

What is happening to this stock? Just keep sliding below $20 atm. Even with this right issue 1:10 (just a minor dilution) the share price should not be under $20. Hope it rebounces in a short while.

Right issue allotment is 1 for 10 shares. Pricing at RM13.8 each for RI.
The despatch date is 25/6 and final acceptance date is 3/7. Only allowed 6 working days and it is just too short. Not a good strategy!
