Just ask yourself this, these old men like to use example of those returning after working overseas for 10years. Why are there so few examples. I assume that these are just few exceptional cases. Unable to get PR probably, really not easy. Some want to come back because they're loaded with strong foreign currencies, retire in Malaysia sure better.

What I'm proposing is very simple. If you can't stand not getting treated 'equally' here, there's so much opportunities out there. Leave the policies intact, why argue about it? It's already fixated in the Constitutions, you need 2/3 majority to make any changes, do you think it's likely? No, I don't think so. So why fight with them, just find places with better opportunities lah.

10k MYR per month can be easily achievable at countries with stronger currencies. Why start with 3k here month. Minimum wage in Oz $20/hr, 1 month expenses $1,500 can live comfortably. Don't stay in your comfort zone and get misleaded by these old men.

REP is a joke, look at how successful is it. Who will be so idiotic to come and earn this weak MYR? Day dreaming really. Ks55 I pity your children.

Malaysia be accountant can earn that much or not? Can lah work for 5 months then got 15k ... 5 times the effort but same return... Hahahaha anyone with the brains will chose 15k per month lah. Please please study hard young people, don't get stucked like all these old unkers here... Unless you miss the nasi lemak, teh tarik here then different story lah
Most of the people criticise me is because they have no where to go, so they are trying to force their one sided opinion and try to influence me. Sorry doesn't work that way. Thoughts too clear, not easy to influence.
Me, very simple, if you can leave just leave, if you really need to come back, then only come back. Keep your IC, no need worry one. Many people do that, get PR overseas, when want to retire only come back lah. Teach you all the tricks already, don't be like them stucked here, then claim that it's good.
If you have no options, you don't get to decide where is good and where is bad. Period. Ask Alvin, USA good or not, earn 4x MYR for each dollar.
If you really want to claim this place is better, you better show me you can move to somewhere else if not your words mean nothing.

Stop living in denial please, for the sake of your children. GO become waiter in Ozzie land you can easily make 15k MYR per month. But like I said, can you get the visa or not? That's the problem. Don't stay here really, no future.

Yes Unker Sslee you are right, we look at brighter future, I also think of my kids in future too (I think very long - don't even have girlfriend now hahah). Do I want my kids to go through what I went through? Nope. But that's long story lah... Never mind better to plan first. Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.

ICAEW go audit firm, I have friends work in big 4, sad to say no difference than modern slavery, not sure if their hourly pay is more than minimum wages or not. One thing can be sure thou is that McD definitely pays more on hourly basis.
Anyway audit line in Malaysia is just not worth it. Fortunately, I have friends who also thinks the same, they say Singapore is much better. x3 pay, higher salary too. These are the ones that are better than me. But, more stress is to be expected.
I used to intern in a large bank in Malaysia (cannot be too obvious here), the culture is just tsk tsk tsk..... First week, very motivated, last month before leaving - aiya relax lah never mind one...

Those who end up not doing very well in life even with strings of A's, you know why? They don't know what they want in life. For me I have very very clearly defined goal. Too bad it's just a dream now. Never mind one door closed another opens, I have new goals now.

Other ppl might have find the cure, there are endless possibilities.
If the time is up, the purpose in this material world has been served, the death is inevitable and not to be feared. It is the law of mother nature, the Ying will becomes Yang & vise versa.
For your info, my peer, those so called top scorers with all the A's are doing so so only up to date. Those who failed their SPM & failed their college, they are the one owning the successful businesses, living in the big houses & driving big cars now.
The straight A's does not guarantee your life will be successful but it only open up more professional options which the normal people cannot do - nothing more.
I have seen the medical undergraduates opted to drop out due to alternative path of making money, I have seen the engineers undergraduates opted to drop out to continue their family business.
The point is, it is not the end of the world if we didn't get what we wanted, there could be other arrangement awaiting at the path of our life.

To migrate, you need to first have really really good English, secondly it will be advantageous to pick up an additional language. I am learning German during my free time by the way. Spanish is a good one.

Philip, how convenient, compare it to worse countries to justify how good it is here. Why is Malaysia a good country? Look at Africa, we are 100 times better. Too bad, I am not that easily fooled, I compare to First World Countries, not even comparable.
I am not complaining, I am just telling my story, I know it can't be changed, I know it's a Social Contract, I understand it, which is why I said it's futile to even think of changing it. Which is why I emphasised everything is good, if you don't like it you leave. If you are looking for equality here, you are looking at the wrong place.
Am I being ungrateful? I did give them 3 chances, looks like the 3rd time they are not even thinking about it. 3 times is the maximum I can give, if that's the outcome, so be it.
Not many people my age can think in such depth, much less articulate in words to express the thoughts. I am an exception, but I don't want to be selfish so I am raising awareness. That's what I am trying to achieve. The grass on the other side is really really much greener.
Australia, minimum wage $20/hour, 1 month $1,500 can live comfortably. Why not? But is your English good enough to get a visa and land a job there? That's the question.
I heard plumber makes $50 per hour and upwards, it's a dirty job, but what's a job other than means to earn income. Give me the chance I'll take it any time.
Yes Vietnam GDP Growth rate is exceeding ours by so much, and with their attitude, I won't be surprised we will be surpassed within the next decade. Even Tun M said that one day Vietnam will be better than us.

qqq3, just remember if one day you could have your incurable disease cured but because of your distorted mindset of denying those with the merits the opportunity, and you're the end sufferer. I would say good good riddance and karma is a real bitch.

Just think about this, one day if you get an incurable disease, think about that guy who had the potential in studying something and could have found the way to cure your disease. But he ended up studying accounting and now you have no cure but you have to die. Remember this. This is really good riddance or Karma at it's finest.

Oh by the way, I just couldn't stand subsidising other's benefits with the taxes I pay although it's not much, but I just can't stand it. So No. There are better places out there, where the taxes you pay have a higher chances of benefiting yourself. I don't mind paying 50% taxes if at the end of the day it benefits me. I have problem paying even 1% of taxes if it is meant to pay for benefits of certain people. Can you enlighten my stand on this? I think not. I am very certain and very firm on this.

But I say the same, if you could leave the country, do go out and see first. Best is if your friends and family can go along with you if you are unable to adapt being alone, not an issue for me. Look at the first world developed countries, and you will realise that this place has huge room for improvement, but they are all restricted by their ignorance & 3rd world mentality.
If you want equality, this is not the place for you. Period

Unker Philip, I CANNOT AGREE MORE AND EMPHASIS THE IMPORTANCE OF LIFELONG LEARNING!!!! What most people do after they graduate is they think they are done with their studies, they are good enough, they know everything and they stop learning, 90% of them don't even pick up a single book right after the finished the universities!
That's plain arrogance and laziness. Straight A's doesn't mean pampered, but they should be given the better opportunities for their efforts!

At least there's still a handful company worth investable in Bursa. Otherwise.. the education system, from bad to worse, soon it will be the worst. Unker qqq3, continue defending, one day your grandchildren might need the Matriculation chance. I am done, that's it, no need to argue, I am good enough to leave I know it. Unker qqq3, like that I really cannot agree with you liao lo... I got so many A's but I can't get into Matriculation. I applied leh... 3 options, none chosen. Okay nevermind, I went to STPM, end up with a totally unrelated course - nuclear engineering for biology stream student. I was lucky, I could get into private institution and learn about finance and accounting. Or else what do you think will happen to me? Most likely I am working as some low paying job now. That's why I will never agree with people who give opportunities based on other than merits.
