"The second supplementary land price appraisal report has been completed and a preparatory hearing was held on 20 June 2019. The presiding judge closed the preparatory proceedings for pleading and stated that the formal hearing will commence on 25 July 2019.
On 25 July 2019, the presiding judge requested BJR to submit evidentiary evidence with respect to the total claims by BJR. The next hearing date has been fixed on 19 September 2019."

Just wanna share my view that don't speculate on Bandar Malaysia if you are not at least mid term investor.
A lot of terms to be sorted out and it's still subject to negotiations.

Four Seasons Kyoto development consists 2 components: 1) Hotel and 2) Residences
Hotel is for recurring income and it's an income producing asset for investors such as pension fund, private equity, REIT to hold for long term.
Residences are serviced residences that BJLand sells to individual buyers, it's a super high end condo for super rich people.
The link that you provided is for Residences, not for hotel.
If BJLand engaged an agent to sell Hotel, it must be a much more renowned and bigger scale agent like JLL, CBRE etc

Situation is totally different for BJLand but direction of share price is the same which is TOWARDS A MUCH HIGHER PRICE.
BJLand boss cannot buy in open market now due to public spread requirement.No point for Big Boss to buy in open market if he is planning for a corporate exercise. If he wants to have more support, he must have asked friendly parties or allies to buy and become part of the required public spread that will be of his favor
SIMPLE LOGIC: look at the volume, it is clear that big guys are buying, not retailer investors obviously!!
It's very difficult to make money from Berjaya counters. It has been declining for almost a decade!! This uptrend is the last call to make profit in this late cycle!!

Look at Beijing and London, after Olympics, property prices went up! Same for Japan where it will host Olympics 2020.
Berjaya Land has several quality assets in Japan like Four Seasons Kyoto and Okinawa.
