Good morning. DRB is cash rich and property rich now. With FSP GEELY's CEO Proton will benifit from the JV. A much cheaper buy is DRBHC-C37 at 7c. It expires in April 2018. By then DRB will be above Rm2.

Macquarie has to pay more to the C28 hoders if the average closing price is high. The conversion price of C28 is 1.05 and the conversion ratio is 2.5 : 1. E.g. average price is 1.90 then 1.90-1.05=.85; 0.85÷2.5=0.34. That means Macquarie has to pay Rm0.34 per unit to the C28 holders. The last done price of C28 was Rm0.29.

The road block of 1.80 may be manned by Macquarie as the closing price of DRB is still counted as part of average price for C28

Proton losses will be cut by 49.9% for DRB. All banks loans of Proton will be paid. Geely will have no worry of paying banks interests but will concentrate on turn-around plan of making money for Proton. The plan will be out soon by Geely. Geely had such experience of turning around Volvo before.

Proton will have zero debt with banks, saving substantial amount of money in interest. DRB is indirectly " bailed out " by the gov.@Geely
