EPF's selling/buying is nothing more than re-shuffle its portfolio. It has its expectation on the basket of shares it held. So, certain days buy and sell certain companies is common. ultimately,it discharge its responsiblity by makes certian % of return on the whole basket of companies invested. If a layman were to follow its investment style, I think a major part of the fund will be ended in the pocket of the remisiers.

You can refuse to sell your shares and let the major shareholders have difficulty getting 90% of the co shares. It will not be delisted without90% shares.Pls look at the case of HLCap now, without 90%, it will not be delisted.

If $150,000,000 can buy $400,000,000 properties,then pls don't sell your shares.Let the major shareholders has a hard time.Look at HL cap,the major shareholders is asking a low price to take over the co, at the end, it does not succeed.So , pls don't sell your shares to thsi stingy major shareholders.

He has missed the US QE due to his timing, if market is crashed, it will take quite a while to recover,but he will at least make $10m from his management fee. In either way, he is laughing all his way to the bank.

In laxxey partner's saga,I voted for the appointment of new directors, but just can't outnumber those emotional ttb's supporters.Now, after a year, what those emotional supporters get. aren't they invest to improve their financial standing? For me, luckily, i also cashed out some and invest in other company which provide better return than "under-performed" Icap.

I think otherwise, at today's meeting ,the board of directors said take note on the dividends that requested by minority shareholders.
May be the annoucement will be due any time soon.
Ragarding the plantation land, I think the vulue will emerge any time soon,looking at the accessibility of the plnatation land at stone throwing distance from kong-kong toll and tanjong langsat toll. Of course,for chinese company, our government will make extra-demand for conversion reqiurement but I have came across that jcorporation is eyeing on the Ks plantation land,so there is a possibility that jcorp may cooperate with ks to develop the land. or may be jcorp may outright purchase the land from KS.

I owned shares of this co since 2007,I think corporate activities such bonus or share split is brewing looking at the fact that the co proposed to enlarge its authorised share capital and the recent increased of its sahres.It appears to me that the insider(I mean those who help doing M&A ) has acted earlier than the public

For construction company,definately require capital expenditure to buy new equipments for their projects to be carried out, the questions is the amount of capital expenditure must be reasonable.
