I just spoke to kumar of RHBInvestment cooperate finance head, I was informed final extension date will fall on 18-10-13. That means 3 more trading days n currently major shareholders still fall short of 0.03% .Minor shareholders please don't let go your shares so that privatization will fail.

Yes, shares price move ahead of its fundamental , but for ytlp, I prefer to buy and wait and relax base on co's financial cash of $10b. Of course, not many agreeable with me but for the action mentions in my previous threads, I think this is the best way to make money.

Dividend distribution is subjective. Of course,when the management wish to grow its business by investing new venture, they must conserve some cash from other area such as distribution of dividend.After major capital expenditure has about to stop, their next target will be how to lift up co's market capitalization.Of course, before such move, they must accumulate own company shares at lowest price with substantial %.Otherwise,how to accumulate their own wealth?

It is probably due to most analysts write the report based on earning and dividend perspective. They have not consider the price to book value when the company has a strong financial muscle.if looking from this angle, it is the trough and the best time snap up its shares.

Hng33, CIMB has a more sensible report with TP $2.50 if I have not mistaken.

Overall, it's a great company and getting more attention of public by its share buy back programs. The Chinese business weekly also has its coverage for aggressive share buy back today.

hnn33, i am fully aware ytlp has built a lot of communication towers in government schools. By doing so, it shows how brilliant the management is. it use a stone to kill 2 birds. For one, derive steady revenue from government schools and no2, use the towers for surrounding commercial activities. The beauty is ,I believe the rental must be very cheap. Where as for P1 of green package, it normally built its towers on the roof of shop lots appears to be more costly.

Further, do u notice the ex-date of ytl crop 15:1entitlement was after the issued of 2012 annual report? The reason being FY wants to buy more from the market and a lot of ignorance public will sale at that price after ytlp-wb was pressed down from $0.60 to$0.40.

Hng33, I think privatiization of ytlpower is a distratacting tactic used to divert public's attention. When ytlpower-wb is hovering around $0.36 to $0.42 between oct 12. to June 13, for a guy with strong financial muscle, and with a scheme to be carried out in near future. What will he do? I believe he will "sapu" all or those available in the market because it is dirt cheap to him,
Without any mathematic calculation, I have strong feeling that more than 90% of ytlpower-wb must be in the hand of FY.
The price of ytlpower-wb will be lifted May be cross $1.40. You know, all ytlp-wb paper will be turned into money .
There is a saying " when a corporate figure do corporate exercise, the money that he is going to make will be a small timer to make in few generations.

Peter,don't worry , the co has mandate to buy back 10% of its shares and currently it has used up less than 7%. Further AGM is approaching, the management will ask for another new mandate of 10%

How he is going to "push up" YTLPower, of course, share buy back.
the, let YTLP and YTLP-wb have a gap " at discount" if possible. the public will help FY do arbitraging. FY will get $1210 per lot and add around $600 to $700 to buy back the mother.
A believe 2-3 yesrs down the road, the result of YTLP will be getting better and better.
Analysts and news reporters will rate this counter higher and higher and that is the time nobody is willing to let go the YTLP mother shares.

When ytlp-wb is around $0.38-0.40, FY must have collected a lot and i guess at least 90% is in his hand now

Jerry, I am a silent investor, the scheme used by FY is very simple and I think hng33 and you have overlook one thing after your "so many"
posting.
Let me higlight it here.In middle of year 2012 when YTLP-wb was around $0.60 down from $1.40, it is considered cheap already to a lot of people. But FY sold further to press down the price to around $0.40.
Why did he do that? It is because later he announced ytl corporation to reward its shareholders by 15:1 of YTLP-wb @ 0.20 sen a piece.
By doing so, the majority of YTLP-wb still goes to his family co i.e YTL & son at very cheap price.
Now, what he should do is to push up "sky high" the YTLPower.The price of YTLP-wb will follow suit.
What is the end result? All money realised later will be "Tax Free".
Of course, it will take years to complete the scheme. so be patient and rewards of holding YTLP-wb will re lucrative and huge.
