Lets take 2023 Share of Profit with 4 QR Assumption :

2023 : 1QR = RM 28.326 M , 2QR = RM 32.312 M , 3QR = RM 35.862 M

Assuming 4QR = 20 M

Total 2023 = Rm 116.5 M divided by 3 = 38.83 M

( ie : 10 % share of Profit is 38.83 M yearly )

Why didn't Jaks consider to get bank loan to subscribe the additional 10 percent of JHDP? Any difficulty to get bank loan? With Jaks low current ratio as mentioned in presentation, shall able to get bank loan.


- We are currently looking at various funding options to exercise the 10% option, including utilising the dividends from the power plant to be re-invested for the 10% option.


- Additionally, banks do not conduct this form of equity financing.

Government guarantee (GGU)

* The GGU provides Vietnam Government Guarantee on all payment obligations of MOIT under the BOT contract and the EVN under the PPA.

* The guarantee on PPA is for 18 years from COD, and the full term of the BOT in the case of MOIT.

* Guarantor shall also pay interest on any sums outstanding.

* GGU also guarantee USD currency conversion and right to remit

* repayment of principal, interest, etc under financing document

Coal
Although PDP8 does not call for immediate reductions in Vietnam's reliance on coal, coal would become a smaller share of the total energy mix by 2030. In 2020, total capacity of coal-fired power plants was 21.38 GW (30.8%) of the energy mix. After 2030, Vietnam would not develop any new coal-fired power plants, and active plants that are 20 years or older will begin transitioning to biomass or ammonia. Plants over 40 years old that cannot achieve this fuel switch will be retired.
