The Share Buy Back is nothing surprising. The company had already taken shareholders approval to buyback upto 10% of its shares. 10% is 800 Million shares.
The treasury shares will be used to list in Hongkong. My sense is bby the time of the HKG listing Top Glove share should be around RM 25. I have no idea why you guys are so paranoid about the company's fundamentals.

This could lead to further hike in ASP for Gloves

With Top Glove production likely to be affected by the infections at their factory there will be a furthur shortfall in supply in an already sparse supply situation. Remember Topglove is the world's largest producer. A 20% drop in their production translates to approximately 12-13% drop in Global production.

Please all rise and demand a BAN on Structured Warrants.

The only way for the Glove counters to go up is for all retail investors to buy. At the present rate of QoQ profit growth, a PE of 55-60 is reasonable. There is clear visible earnings for the next year atleast.

SUPERBULL, YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD BRO !
Structured Warrants are the biggest scam on the planet. They are banned in the US and will probably be banned globally soon. Contract For Difference ? What a SCAM.

We are the fools. We let the IBs take us for a ride. Vaccine or not, gloves are still needed atleast for another 2 years. If we Investors have confidence in the demand we should all buy.

So guys, what happened ? Have the Vaccines reached Port Klang or KLIA yet ?

@TTD1990, Vaccine not even confirmed 100% effective, forget getting to Malaysia :)

Also, Pfizer has been producing vaccine on the sidelines without Authorisation. They need somewhere to sell to. I ask all of you plugging this CONCEPT of a vaccine, " WILL YOU TAKE THIS VACCINE AS A TRIAL "?

Ssoo,
Simple. Most of the people on this forum are only passing time, not buyingthe shares. If all of you just bought the shares the price will go up.

The IB are responsible for the retail investors losing money. No doubt about it. The system is designed to favour the Investment Banks, Brokers

Net profit of RM 1.89 Billion equates to RM 472 Million in taxes.
100 Million in Voluntary Donation is tax deductible meaning Counted as Tax Paid. Where is the problem Mr. Speed of Sound ?

Vanbasten, yes I will for sure
2020-11-06 21:17 | Report Abuse
100 million net profit equals 25 Million in tax anyway. So what's the difference ? The payment is tax deductible.
2020-11-06 21:09 | Report Abuse
There is nothing to worry about. Whatever is paid is considered tax deductible. Assuming a 25% tax rate, 4x the amount paid is tax free. Good for the company and good for the country.

The operators are simply making use of any and every opportunity to press the price down. With the Budget due later this week, price will stay subdued.
Retail investors should please understand that the fundamentals of Top Glove and all the other Glove counters are Very Strong. So, please do not panic and sell. You will only be playing to the tunes of the operators, the Investment Banks.
Just think !!!
Any company that earns over a Billion Ringgit in ONE QUARTER. Total 4 quarters. You have an EPS of over RM 1.50
Which other industry provides this kind of Income, especially in these very uncertain times.

Double gain for the IB. Lower prices means less pay-out on the Warrants & Lower averages for their Hedge.
2020-11-02 14:10 | Report Abuse
All this analysis is of no use. IB's are making use of every opportunity to lower the price and buy in. The retailers are either scared or stuck at high levels with no liquidity. Those with liquidity should boldly buy. Valuations are cheap.
That's the only way the situation will change.

Exactly, if EPF loses money the whole nation suffers. If the IB's lose money only their company suffers. Which do you prefer ?

What you people really need to be Upset about is the Structured Warrants. That is the flimsiest excuse of the IB's use to supress prices and from time to time issue ' Analysts' reports giving target prices that seem like my shobhi blurting out Oil prices. Bloody creeps IBs. I insist on a 'Credibility' Rating for all Investment Banks operating in Malaysia
