If anybody felt left out, you can try again when the bears try to push down the large green candle. around the middle of the green candle at 1.23 can enter and put stop loss at 1.14. With the trade volume of 30million last friday, the highest in MI's history, i'm pretty sure that is quite a solid bottom unless some economic crisis erupts

This stock behaves like a GLC because its owned by a Sultan. They (the royal family) will have some influence to get themselves into advantageous positions before it starts to move.

Calm down people, I'm not asking anyone to jump into SD, I also don't own shares here. No harm exploring a potential opportunity when it presents itself. I see similarities to HoHup's PN17 nearly 10 years ago.

@MamakKutty
I think they have a fair idea because Bursa & SC officers found editable Microsoft Excel files along with various company stamps not belonging to SD (Petronas is one of those stamps). So just need to find out how much then we will know the real revenue they have been generating.

I would like to ask in this forum if anybody knows exactly or roughly how much of SD's annual revenue were falsely reported?
Because in 2021 they reported RM6Billion then in 2022 after it was exposed, they reported RM1.35Billion. There's a RM4.65Billion difference, and if I average it with past 5 years' revenue, it would be around RM3.22Billion, which is a RM1.87Billion difference.

Could be double accounting? Once audited all double and triple accounting at subsidiaries wont repeated at higher parent..
SD need to elaborate how come from 6bil now drop to hundreds on mil only...!!!
@Michael R.

PassionateInvestor, your last sentence is much more concerning than everything else in your post. you might want to read and absorb what newbie8080 wrote. sometimes buying shares also need to have some business sense.

Judging from the way Mi pays dividends, I think it would be advisable to sell when opportunity arises. The owners are paying themselves handsomely when they should be reinvesting the money into growing the business just shows that they are comfortable with the status quo.

NatsukoMishima, NP doesn't tell you whole story. 2Q NP high is from other non-business activities (sale of land).

Company buys back shares have different priority compared to investors. If they were to let their share price slide to whatever bottom, it would look bad on them, so buying back the shares and maintaining the price provides assurances to investors that the company has confidence in their valuation.

007 Thanks for the article. That means the current price already reflects the drop in auto production.

I'm also hoping that Sabah & Sarawak will get at least 1 digital banking license as EM is really underserved. But if BNM is going all out just for potential profit, then the obvious choices would be the ones people are singing the loudest about (RHB-AXIATA, YTL-SEAGROUP, AEON Group, Razer). These fellas will only go for the techsavvy city dwellers and in the end the underserved will continue to be neglected.

I don't think many actually read the IPO prospectus for FFB. They clearly stated that about 80% of the IPO money will be used for paying off their existing debt. The balance 20% for building minor facilities that will come online in 18-24 months, then only will investors see their IPO returns. Their actions also imply that they have plans for another round of fund raising in the next 2 years, therefore the initial analyst price target of 1.50 for 2022 is quite realistic.
