Management would want to make sure that the average share price to be higher before completing the private placement. They would not want to sell their company cheap. I think gadang will slowly creep up back to the 2.20-2.50 level at least.

Agree with kancs3118. Private placement is to take on potential new projects which should be earning more than the dilution effect.

Price keeps going up....Have they won the CSR or the borneo highway tenders? People are expecting them to win the CSR contract at least due to Tengku Uzir having worked in JKR previously.....from what i understand, JKR is the one that will be awarding the tender.

Being pahang royalty also helps in getting the contract..m

Read in bloomberg that refinery margin might fall in the coming future due to the potential flooding of petroleum products by refineries in china. Not sure if shell refinery would be effected given that the output is for domestic consumptions (to supply shell's petrol station).

Hard to be bullish on the stock when shell themselves was willing to let it go @ 1.80 per share. In addition, there will be heavy capex expected for the Euro 4 & 5 complience. There might need to raise additional funds for these in the form of right issues i think.

Ahmad Jauhari is actually more of an energy (IPP) guy rather than an aero specialist. He was appointed to the CEO of MAS previosly because of his succes in turning around Malakoff where he served between 1994 to 2010.

So i am not sure if his appointment into the BOD has anything to do with Sapres strategy in the aero business.
