@eric, to be honest, I am only 7 months into share market. That's why I want to learn more and I believe this is at least more predictable than toto magnum la..

lol Eric, stock market is always unpredictable la... if it is predictable, all people no need to work but trade stocks liao.. on top of that, china-related stock is even more unpredictable....

Sumatec closed with the same price as yesterday, again

Force index(MA) = Positive but lesser than yesterday
GMMA: same as yesterday, almost all red lines are crossing green lines (i.e. bullish trend is not confirmed)
MACD: Again making another small step closer to 0 (i.e. bullish trend is not confirmed)
RSI: 64.3%, Gaining slightly more strength than yesterday
Stochastic: Same as yesterday (66.7%). Not in overbought zone, but %D showed slightly weaken sign.

Personal view: MACD moved closer with RSI gained slightly more strength. But there are some weaken sign in Force Index & Stochastic. Nevertheless, this is another sideway, in my opinion.

@dragon kak noraini corrected the statement in next post.. its getting bullish

Price still closed above SMA 20 (brown line)

Candlestick: A doji. A sign of indecision by traders/investors
Force index(MA) = Positive but lesser than yesterday
GMMA: almost all red lines are crossing green lines (i.e. bullish trend is not confirmed)
MACD: Again making another small step closer to 0 (i.e. bullish trend is not confirmed)
RSI: 60%, Gaining slightly more strength than yesterday
Stochastic: Same as yesterday (66.7%). Not in overbought zone.

Personal view: Everybody, mini fireworks breakout is over, let's sleep in sumatrain :)

agreed with imlegend and dragonslayer.. sumatec just need a concrete news annoucement to trigger the real breakout. So far all plans and rumours only.

@derrickinvestor my personal prediction is that... look at the % of bungaraya has risen after the 2nd drilling annoucement.. that could be the increment % potential for sumatec after drilling annoucement.

Just my personal view ;)

in one month time, reached its all time high, then plunged to almost one year low.. now recovered to where it was a month ago..

just to share my personal TA.. do correct me if I am wrong.

Price closed RM0.005 lower than previous day. The candle stick pattern looks to me, like a harami (please correct me if I am wrong because I don't want to misguide people!)

If it is a harami, it could be a bullish harami.

Price still closed above SMA 20 (brown line in the chart)

MACD is moving even closer to 0. Once cross 0 = confirmed bullish
Force Index is positive = bullish sign
GMMA: Once more red lines cross green line, it will confirm the bullish trend
RSI strength remains the same as yesterday: 56.3%, gaining strength
Stochastic: moving slightly away from overbought zone

My personal view: Kak Noraini could be right that after yesterday's positive signals, many could be taking profit.

But finally today GMMA also gave initial signal that it is changing trend, i.e. from bearish to bullish. We just need more red lines to cross green lines.

Apart from the price closed lower RM0.005 than yesterday, I'd still say it is overall moving towards positive trend.

Even rex also recovering already..

@victor nope. Not buying sharexpert software...there are so many tools available.. So far am happy with chartnexus.. What I wanted to say was, if all these signals happen and citytrader and otb start commenting on this forum, that means the day of sumatec rising is not far already

dragonslayer.. am still learning lah.. for example.. i still can't tell what type of candlestick is it.. but other signals (GMMA, MACD SMA) are quite straight forward.. so hope whoever knows, can share. :)

hello all, was a bit free this afternoon.. would like to share my own interpretation of Sumatec's TA chart

Closed same as previous day ( RM0.28). Did not manage to close above SMA 20 (brown line), but it is very close now.

Bollinger band is tightest in recent history. Breakout is quite likely.

Slight improvement in MACD again, moving towards 0.
Stochastic is at its strongest form ever since rights issue last month.

My personal take: Expect CityTrader to appear in this forum when GMMA red lines cross green line with MACD crosses 0, and expect OTB to appear in this forum when Force Index are in positive. What I mean is, they might start taking sumatec seriously when these signals happen.

Until then, I will continue my Sunday nap... zzzzzzzz.....

1) Read posts by Noraini Ismail
2) Read posts by looiks
3) read announcements in Bursa
4) Read Sumatec's plan/news in http://sumatec.com/
5) some of the posts by hhakim and strategists are good indicators too.

If you can link all the 5 elements together.. you will have all the answers you need. (i.e. stock performance and whether it is right time to enter)

Suggest to treat this as investment: to do it, you need to study the backgrounds clearly, too.

@minitrader they are easily identifiable. I'm not surprised they are here to scare people so that they can buy low, and sell high as contra.. then say negative things about this counter because they lost in contra.
