Buying to gain control!?

Today the buy rate is high, is this not a sign of approval of Kanger's management, including the decision to sell the two properties for a profit of ~35%? And may be hitting 6sen by Friday?

Hope some one can can comment on this seemingly a hostile take over!

Those who subscribed the RI, already making 0.5sen for every 6sen, about 8%. But I think Kanger can deliver higher....eg. the profit is about 36% for the sale of the two properties:)

selling the two properties for rm258.9mil, while assessed value is rm190.8mil, meaning profit is about rm68mil! That's about 36% more than assessed value. Please correct me if I mistaken. And anyone know how much Kanger paid for the two properties?

Genting open, but Kanger apt not ready yet.....but less chance for construction delays, so completion hopefully on schedule! Make money also as scheduled, haha

Selina888, ya, am waiting.... to give time for Kanger to get G7 license and get Antara deal and its businesses going! It has a lot on its plate!

@MZM2511, I subscribed as planned....one key push (among many pushes, haha) is Director paying 6sen a share without warrant for sung master acquisition. RI we get a free warrant, get more than director! I am also hopeful that directors will make some positive announcements like G7 approved, if not vaccine. Once again thank you for your major articles! Kanger is somewhat weak in investor relations :(

Bilis, As far as I know, it doesn't work like that, not at the beginning of warrant's valid period. Look at AEM, warrant conversion 5sen, mother 4.5, warrant 1.5. Why warrant not 0.5sen? I think it's because holding warrant is less capital intensive. Just imagine, you hold lots of warrants and Kanger's businesses bear fruits in three years meaning its share prize will be up there, so Bilis akan jadi BilisKaya Ooi

Expecting up or maintain on Monday. Basic reasoning: No urgency to sell, those who needed to sell to get fund for subscription of RI had sold on Friday.

Understand that as today is the last day to sell if want to use the fund from the sale to subscribe on Wednesday.....so some kawan here bui tahan got to sell....those who can tahan tahan....just be happy with life!

Sorry, on 30 August i made a mistake in the profit calculation. Should be ( 4.5+0.75*1.5)-5, not (4.5+1.5)-5. (.75 warrant for one right share subscribed)

The average cost for the recent PP was 4.862sen, so I think it should go up to 5sen soon

I was thinking those who subscribed alot so their cost for 1 share and .75 warrant is just 5 Sen, now they're happy with about 10%gain and are selling. But interesting to note that they're not selling warrants at 1.5sen!

Agree but more than that Kanger's potential is in my opinion more than 6sen. I keep saying don't sell cheap cheap.....those who sold cheap might have regretted, but might be they were forced to due to unavoidable circumstances:(

@Patience99, Thank you. Ya, as you pointed out, Kanger's businesses are closely linked with healthy and sustainable living which makes a lot of sense to me so I like to play a small part to support it.... furthermore I'm a shareholder:)

Seems like someone collecting strategically, bought at 5.5 Sen in spurts of several minutes, then stop before hitting 6sen, and wait for the selling queue at 5.5 Sen to build up, then repeat!

But I wouldn't sell so generously at 5sen....

Normally the big buyers get discount, now retailers get bigger discount than Quah, great opportunity!

MZM, I think your expectation of 6-6.5 is reasonable.... Director Quah will be paying 6sen a share for the sung master acquisition. Retailers buying now at 5.5 gets ~10% discount compared to Quah!

Besides the businesses in Malaysian, I think the bamboo businesses have great potential. So, i am still saying the same thing: I will subscribe to RI, and don't sell off your Kanger shares cheap cheap! Happy trading and investing!!
