No crash is expected, it will be just a temporary disturbance to the whole world market. USA, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore financial institutions will be affected the most. It will be a systematic transition, no worry.

I'm not supposed to trade HSI but the BREXIT gain is just too tempting, so I bought HSI-H25 at the early morning and closed it just now.

HSI is expected to be down until a day before BREXIT, C-holders have to clear their positions and reload on 23/June.

Jake81, C21 may need to cut loss at 2.45pm if DAX futures does not look good. The bear is firmly gripped on HSI, not much chance for rebound.

Today may cautiously go for HSI-Cs, be wary at 11am, Bank Of Japan will announce rate decision. Remember last time after the announcement, worldwide markets dropped suddenly. So you may need to temporary close C position at 10.50am and get it back after 11.15am if nothing happens.

HSI-H holders, run for your lives! DAX future is ~1% green now! Once DAX cash market opens, HSI may spring up.

cwingz, index warrant gearing is high, the strategy of buy and hold is applicable to equity not index warrant. Someitmes, you hold an index warrant for 2 weeks can cost you 70% loss! You can wager small first and fix it each time, say 5K or 10K, then your loss will not be so much.

Bursa, HSI may still go up further, check the DAX future at 2.45pm, if it is green then expect HSI to inch up when DAX market opens after 3pm.

cwingz, for HSI index warrant, you can not hold too long. The nature of HSI is more suitable for day trading, unless you have a confidence that the bid price will be continuously up for a period then you can hold, else just close the position and start anew the next day. Sometimes HSI can be up one day and down the next day, if you hold it then you gain nothing but if you buy C and sell it and then buy H and sell it the next day, you gain something. The key point is you need to predict correctly the HSI movement.

Cwingz and Gemini15, I lost big also when I was a rookie. To be successful, you need to stand up from where you fall.

cwingz, why today no tumpang but tumpang yesterday earn a small profit only. It is 31% profit now C21 @0.17.

In view of the short-sellers are slightly panic now, revise HSI close level to up ~ 0.6%-0.8%.

Bursa, it is better go for C21 now for day trade as C20 sensitivity is about 53 ticks whereas C21 is 39 ticks.

After so many days HSI is down and there will not be a rate hike, it is a common sense that most investors will buy low. The short-sellers if don't cover today will bear the brunt of HSI rally tomorrow.

See the thrill of HSI roller coaster, HW from +ve turns to -ve. Those take my advice to take profit on HW will be happy now.

Jake81, expect no rate hike and a probable rally for HSI tomorrow, can take a day risk to hold Cs overnight. That's no such thing as after dropping for few days then it should be up the next day. We need to evaluate the situation to make decision, it could be continuous dropping for many many days also.

Jake81, if the DAX is green then HSI may be slightly green at close, ~0.2%-0.4%. Else, it just slightly red, drop 0.2%-0.3%.

Anybody knows what is the problem, I was trying to buy HSI-C20 @0.085 but the order rejected by exchange, the reject message was "Exceeded Stock-Company buy exposure limit".
