HSI bull is weak, better go for H today.

KLCI today still go for C, it has a same pattern as yesterday. Buy while the index is red and price is low. Bought F-C38 @ 0.03

Kitty28, the F-H43 and 67 did not move much even the KLCI is going up is because of "manipulation", someone holding the warrants don't want to see the price drop so much hence artificially jack-up the bid and ask price using two trading accounts. This will not last long, when index going up to certain level, if the fair market bid price is 2.5c but the jack-uped bid price is 3.5c, some investors will start to sell to him. He will be in trouble to keep absorbing the selling.

Bursa, you only look at buy @0.02 and sell @ 0.03, but did you ever think that it could be buy @0.02 and sell @ 0.01? Don't always think of profit first, think of the risk first and evaluate whether there is a high chance for you to win or not.

Duit, don't get so tempted by index warrants, you still have to go back to the fundamentals of investment. It is a gambling though it is not purely luck, you need to study technical charts, market data and sentiments, economy data and news, social-politics, investors psychology and the big boys trails of movement also. In short, not easy to make money from index warrant. One day, I will quit and go for a more peaceful life, and I'm almost there.

Duit, I didn't make profit everyday, sometimes I did lose money also. Like my F-C28 which is still holding now, average still losing 20% now, but I'm betting on KLCI will recover these few days. Only on 26/May then I will declare lose or win.

Today call is still go for HSI-C and F-C, both shows strong momentum. This morning bought H-C20, F-C38 and 46 at pretty low price. Good Luck, KLCI shouldn't disappoint us today.

Bursa, C28 the last date that you can hold is 26/May which is the last trading day. It needs a lot of courage to hold till then if you believe that KLCI will be creeping up. Else, just sell it when the price is back to 0.03-0.045 today.

I predicted that KLCI bottoming out last week, so I'm not so scared. This week onwward, it will be slowly creeping up, I have been accumulating F-C34, C38 and C46 for holding long.

Bursa, if you can not take risk then just cut loss, it is part of the learning process. To me, I'll take one more trading day risk, wait till Monday.

Our local institutions (KWSP, KWAP, Tabung Haji and etc) are not stupid, they are doing a good job to support KLCI. If they are not good, how can they pay dividend every year even in 2008? When there are sellers, surely there are buyers in the market. It just that whether you buy or sell at the right price and time.

I went for banking hence close H-C20 @0.135 before lunch, it is risky leaving it open especially for HSI. As for F-c28, wait till 4.40pm, the most loss is 10% to sell it @0.045. KLCI is not performing versus the rest of the markets. Dissapointed.

Bursastock, you can see the EU markets' futures before 3pm.

Kitty, hold your horse first, see how's the EU markets future, if all green then HSI has not reached the peak for today, it is not advisable to get HW to go against the tide.

No chance to grap HSI-C, it just moving too fast to react. Now the only chance is wait for it to retrace from today peak, go for HW only.

ss1967, hsi needs to be consistently green for at least 3 days, breaks above 20000, 20320 and 20550, else it just a technical rebound only.

ss1967, the gap between cash and futures is shrinking indicates that some investors are gaining confidence and not so bearish, it doesn't mean hsi will reverse the downtrend, it may still drop further next week.

SS1967, today no clue how high HSI can go, you have to ask the short-sellers how many they want to cover then only can guess it.

HSI H-holders, be wary HSI very likely will rebound today if regional and EU markets mostly green.

Today KLCI's strength is positive, HSI is slightly positive. KLCI will go for C, HSI may need to wait till it drops to ~19550 then only grap C.

HSI could rebound towards the ending session, now it shows some strength from the chart.

Jake81, yes, the gap between cash and futures became smaller but still ~70 points discount to the cash, it indicates hsi still in the downtrend.

HSI just too bearish today, call for C aborted go for H now.

2bits, it needs sometimes to gain the experience in order to recognize the pattern, it is not a technical skill anymore which can be defined and quantified.

Bursa, usually I will check the 1-min MACD and RSI chart to determine when to get in, if the chart shown that it is the lowest point then I will get in, not determine by the warrant price. Sometimes, I didn't if the environment, market and sentiment is good then just grap the C else grap H.

There is some strength seen in HSI, HSI-C would be a better choice today but watch out EU market, it EU markets are bad then have to quickly sell it at 3.10pm else still can wait for it to recover the loss till 4.10pm.

Today prefer to play F-Cs rather tnan HSI C or H. HSI is roughly there, if regional market is good, it may recover some losses.

Today game plan for KLCI is buy F-C28,38 or 46 while the index is red. The momentum is there and Japanese GDP is good so sentiment is not bad.

ss1967, HSI futures is about 130 - 150 points lower than cash, it indicates that the investors are still bearish.
