Say KLCI future @1620, the bid price is 0.025 on 27/May. On 1/June, the bid price may go down to 0.020 even the future stays the same.
That's why those not in the money index warrant is not advisable to keep more than 5 trading days unless it is in the bull/bear run which the future can be up or down fast enough to compensate the "time decay price".

Bursa, the index warrant price matrix is based on future, the FBMKLCI chart in Makuali website is not the KLCI Futures, it is actual KLCI. Hence you will not see a matching between the price matrix and KLCI. Whereas HSI chart is the HSI Future chart.

ss1967, our market is not kena sell-down, this is the fair level currently seen by our institution investors, after foreign investors willing to come im again, our KLCI will go higher then. Generally, foreign investors are more generous to pay premium for KLCI index stocks. I learnt from my friend who works in one of the foreign fund company, his company will come back Malaysia in June, after FOMC meeting.

KLCI will head south today and will be in range bound for sometimes in the coming weeks, it won't lower than 1625.

I still don't see HSI correction is over yet, to me last week push-up was just a technical rebound. Most likely, this coming Wednesday or Thursday will see a sell-off again triggered by China Manufacturing PMI (consensus 50) and ISM Manufacturing (cons. 50.3%). So C-holders, be wary.

Connie, I do trade on other counters which you will see it as boring counters, the annualized returns is about 15%. The advantage is that I can keep it over 5 years or 10 years, don't have to worry about it and can have nice sleep in night. That's the peaceful life that I prefer.

Yen Leng, sorry for late reply. This morning went for a hiking, just came back.
The highest F-c28 bid price can achieve today is 0.03 if KLCI reach ~1638. Don't hold till expiry as KLCI will only move up in slow pace, not like HSI. KLCI the most it can achieve on 31/5 is ~1650 - 1660, still below the exercise level of F-c28.

If S&p500 can break above 2100 then quite likely we are in the beginning stage of bull-run. So HSI c-holders may recover most losses in the coming weeks as it may break above 21800.
It looks like that the big boys have to abandon their plan to push down HSI to below 18500. This times the market force is too huge to handle, serve them right.

Sold HSI-C20 @ 0.165, take profit first as I have to go to somewhere.

Gemini15, C21 price already high, you have to wait for the euphoria over and then grap it before Europe markets open for the second round of push up, wait till HSI drops to ~20250, c21 ~0.22. Be wary, you may not get the second time push up as the strength is waning. You may carry it overnight till tomorrow 11.30am, usually the euphoria will last 1 and half day.

SS1967, I'm fishing F-Cs for it has bottomed. KLCI as usual is a laggard, you'll need to hold sometimes 2-3 weeks. Whereas HSI may not be bottomed yet. HSI is good for day-trader, it cuts both ways, you can make/lose more than +/-30%.

If HSI can close above 20200 today, the next stop will be 20650.

Today KLCI still go for C and HSI go for C also. HSI already gap up high but expect to go higher after 3pm when EU markets open. Short-sellers of HSI will get a heavy squeeze today.

Goody99, thanks for the info. I knew that KLCI is not really suitable for day trade, I'm only come in when there is an opportunity. In this case, I'm looking for a bigger gain rather than just 0.5c, C28 should be very good for day-trading but it just too risky and 2 days left before expiry. So the next in line is C38 and C46. C38 effective gearing is 29.3 versus C46's 17.4. For current price, an increase in 0.5c for C38 (price 3c)is 16.7% whereas for C46 (price 15c) is just 3.3%. For C38, my strategy is if I can hit big then I will sell at the same day, else will carry forward for few more days.
