BeastOfTheEast, if you read the article, they havent even confirmed if the flu shot was linked to the cause of death. investigations still underway

Also, the flu shots that needed to be refridgerated were exposed to room temperature. i.e. poor storage.

‘Locking in Profit’ is necessary for certain ppl strategic, but just don’t buy back at higher price.. To me, I may sell 30% on first 30% Profit(like buy at Rm7.00 sell at Rm10.00) for first stage, sell another 30% on second 30%Profit( sell at RM14.30), at this stage, you’ve taken back all your investment capital with 4.3% profit, And eventually your balance of 40% shares is at zero cost! Then you can either sell or keep for long period with absolutely no risk.

'locking in profit' is only a defensive move that is only truly profitable in the case that the stock falls after you sold

But in the case that it rises further after you sold then what you have actually done is deliberately cause a cut in your own hard earned gains

Whether they can accept or they cannot accept being overtaken is something completely beyond their control

Only Mr. Market rules, not them

They can suppress for a while I guess but certainly not forever & likely not without cost to them either

It is only good to sell if you got a good chance of buying back at significantly lower price

But with a rising stock the likelihood of that happening is relatively slim so you're actually betting against upward momentum

So what is the point of 'locking in profit' at 9.34 & then later reinvesting back all your initial capital (plus the profit that you already 'locked in') at 9.50 or better still 10?

Where is the financial wisdom in that at all?

I always say, just boycott all these bullshit structured warrants
