@moneykey: it has been pressed down for long long time. It’s time to rebound.

Keep Ekovest shares until the end of 2020, you won’t regret. This is a superlative growth company. Believe it or not, your choice?

Some fund managers previously disposed the shares when M&A proposal was released on 01 November. These fund managers are emotional as they cannot see the substantial value of the land acquired in future. Yes, I agree that land cannot instantly bring in benefit (eg. Monetary return) to EKOVEST. But, the cost of acquiring is relatively much lower comparing to the most recent market value. The on-going cash income generated (60% of net return 10 billion by 2020) from land sales in fact is enough to cover the interest cost of the acquisition (some analysts said the cost should be around 70 million per year). Thus, I reckon that the financial health is sound and no issue of insolvency. As long as the cash flow is constantly well maintained, there will be no fear. Now, can you all se a big picture?

Years ago, some saw negatively when EKOVEST acquires remaining stakes of DUKE highways from MRCB. But, nowadays, no one denies that it was a good buy. Look forward, do not be entangled on the figures in accounting. Otherwise, you cannot see the big picture. It is just a pity that you are destined to earn small bucks and work for a auditing firm.
2017-12-16 18:14 | Report Abuse
60% of DUKE I and II is worth 1.6 billion. Now EKOVEST market cap is smaller than 2 billion. If you own EKOVEST shares, you are investing in a lucrative business with a value much higher than 2 billion, taking into account DUKE 3, River of Life project, and EKO Cheras. This counter is deeply undervalued. Those who say cut cut cut, sell, sell, sell, please be rational and study the counter from a more comprehensive and objective perspective. UOB Kayhian putar belit, sekali buy, sekali sell, sekali hold. Analyst, so what? Analyst can never be a business minded investors with foresight. If ao, they are already like LKH leading a business. Hahaha. Some said EKOVEST will overpay for the M&A. Please lah, study the future cash flow first (from strong cash flow stream from DUKE highways and EKOCHERAS in future and possible from IWCITY land sale to Greenland). We are looking to the future cash flow, not merely the cash stock. Cash expense is not a rigid thing. Whether it is a good buy or not, depend on how you see things. But, I would say, those who insensibly shout “sell, sell, sell”, on what basis you argue in such a way?

60% of 10 billion profit from land sale will belong to Ekovest if the deal is successful. The upcoming cash flow can support the expected sudden increase in borrowing to fund the acquisition deal for the next 3 years. This is sth UOB Kayhian analyst cannot see beforehand.

Ekovest got so many ongoing projects, especially pending DUKE 2A and river of Life. Ekovest should stay focus on these two major projects with effective cost control to spur its earnings growth. Not be to greedy to involve in othe segment where no positive outcome is expected in near future. Don’t talk about long term. How long does it mean long term? Si botak,we are not well endowed like you but we are not stupid. Hahaha
2017-11-28 22:09 | Report Abuse
All the minority shareholders and non-Lim family institutional shareholders should stand as one. Si botak hanya tau play around with his left pocket and right pocket. If Iwcity is so valuable, why not IWH acquires it on its own. Sth fishy.
2017-11-28 22:07 | Report Abuse
Vote against the deal. Iwcity is only a burden to Ekovest given the current situation in property market. Capital should be freed up to spur Ekovest internal growth of business. Not acquiring other assets which look valuable but drag its earnings performance in near term. Say no to IWCITY. Johor property land is nothing but a hype.

If the population can increase to 7 million plus plus, then I would say JB is worth investing.
2017-11-24 22:42 | Report Abuse
Honestly, people only recognize JB as “beside Singapore”. Bandar sempadan jer.
2017-11-24 22:40 | Report Abuse
Ekovest wanna buy cheap. Come on, proposed price 0.05 to acquire IWCITY. IWCITY is just a cheap land. You go to Iskandar area and you will see only mosquitoes reside there. Withou super population growth in JB area, the demand cannot sustain. Unless, Foreigners are welcome to migrate to Malaysia.
2017-11-23 21:08 | Report Abuse
I will vote against the deal. Because I don’t see any potential at Johore property.
