Just to high light that I don't agreed that the Q4 result was good.
The JV entity’s much improved performance can be attributable to the reversal of impairment loss of another RM66.15 million
which was provided in previous years. Does its mean that Without the this reversal of impairment loss this Q4 will be a loss ? Am I correct ?

Actual Q4 2021 PAT of Hiaptek
Hiaptek steel plant in Klang = 11.0 million.
Eastern Steel S/B = 49.5 million (impairment gain = 66.15 million).
This information appeared in Q4 2021 result.

In Eastern Steel S/B report (100% holding)
Actual Eastern Steel S/B PAT (100%) less impairment gain = (49.5/0.35) - 66.15 = 75.28 million
75.28 million is the actual PAT of Eastern Steel S/B (100% holding) after take out 66.15 impairment gain .

Hiaptek owns 35% of Eastern Steel S/B.
35% Eastern Steel S/B PAT = 75.28*0.35 = 26.35 million.

Total Q4 2021 PAT = 11.0+26.35 = 37.35 million.

Actual PAT of Hiaptek is 37.35 million if you take out 66.15 million of impairment gain from the Q4 2021 result.

PAT doubles your estimation.

Very good result.
PAT = 60.484 million despite 2 months plant shutdown for the factory at Klang.
Blast furnace plant of Eastern Steel was shutdown for a month.

Consciously or not, people may twist the facts. They can even trick themselves into believing that the facts aren't relevant. People often dismiss those who hold opposing views as idxxts (or worse). KYY is my relative father in law's friend. He has been invited as a guest of honour sitting in host table at his children wedding dinner. I also happen to be there. This is the first time I saw KYY in person. I don't personally knew him but do admired what he has been achieved during his earlier day in term of wealth & career. Indeed it was a great achievement.

Few years back I have been on your list of subscribers for 2 years. I did follow some of your shares recommendation but its seem that its does not worked well for me. Maybe the timing is out...

In the beginning both O & K joined together for mutual benefit as both parties objectives are being fulfilled. That is fine under the share market bull run scenario but as market turned south things are beginning not looking that rosy. Then their relationship become K & O....

On 6.8.2021 you changed your mind and start promoting aggressively despite the fact that the price of Hiap teck has remained around 50 sen level during that period.

He should take time to look at his own postings which had reflected badly on his judgement & advises. How could a so called seasonal investor behaved like that... flip flopping over just less than a month.

All his ego & his past achievement has clouded his judgement. Being successful in past does not guaranteed that his will be successful in future.

Be humble & graceful... anyhow long term value investment still the key investment strategy for those young one.

I also have invested in Rubberex & Comfort shares in early & middle of 2020. I sold off all the shares during that year & made profit of six figure in both of the counter.

I am a subscriber of O for 2 years only.That was about few years back. During that time the market is on bullish moods hence overall I did made some small profit after less out the losses. Now on my own & following the guidance of HS.

I also following K investment strategy. Previously he said he is fan of O but now they no longer see eyes to eyes. Both K & O shares investment strategy are short terms in nature. My experience told me that K & O investment strategy only workable or worked well when the market is in bullish mood. Following their strategy can be quite stressful. For those who are below 60 years where you have amber of time to wait please following the world renounce shares investors go for long term shares investment. ie at least prepared to hold on the shares for 10 years.
