2. Mqtech prices are rising up until RM0.30 and maintain above that level.

3. Someone suddenly acquire more than 40% of Mqtech total shares (maximum wait is not more than 30 days after total acquisition).

At least 1 has to happened.

If none of these happened, any news out that not related directly of the deal, I will not look it as promising.

luckaje with Top Glove and Hartalega reaching new heights yesterday, if you were in Semperit's shoes then you would obviously want to get on board soon. May sound too optimistic here but if nothing gets updated by next week, then they will miss another window of opportunity.

About the deal, I can be more optimistic only if Mqtech price are rising (and for several days) when most stocks are dropping. If Bursa and most stocks are rising and so does Mqtech, then its just normal. Be careful and know the different.

Better we ignore the big buys. As some of us said, there is a possibility a big player buy big shares to make profit from us (not because of the deal).

So be careful. Remember my experienced of white knight. For me, may be the real true white knight is someone who already own at least 40% of total shares. Especially in this big potential time.

If I dont see any updates of the deal in this month, big chance they are not so serious or the deal already off.

Logically, what kind of company wants to slow the deal process, while other glove companies price are now keep rising.

So, in my opinion, its really fishy if there is no update in this month. If the deal still on, then 4 weeks are the maximum wait to get an update. Now is a 2nd weeks.

My personal answer is yes.

I remember my experienced with Tiger in the past. Almost similar like MQTech right now. White knight also came at that time. Our hope were rising. The price was up. Then the price going down. Hope still there because the white knight still there. Investors like 3 balls juggling by a clown. Up and down...

Lesson, should have an exit date, but when. Experienced or logic may help.

Lets talk logic here.

If the deal is likely, we should get updated news by this week or next week. Because we can see big glove stocks are rising. So logically, both Mqtech and Semperit want to complete the deal as fast as possible.

If there still no updated news by end of next week, I think the deal is already off.

What is a reasonable time?

In this case, think 1 month.

If anyone has experienced with this kind of news (with no expiry date), can tell us how long we should wait to know if the deal news already off.

I want to know for my exit plan. Because I think I have experienced where the project was cancelled and no news given. Only early news said that the project will cancelled if no progress in next X time etc etc. Something like that. At least I know the date. But Mqtech news has no expiry date.
