Exactly. Even if it's not 1 bil. At the current price of 9.21 means market is expecting about 217m. Thanks to all those uneccesary fears.

Since 9.21 is the current price and 0.184 is the cumulative earnings for 3 quarters ( q4,q3,q2) with "x" as q1 earnings

9.21/ (0.184 + x ) = 35


9.21 = 35(0.184+x)

9.21 = 6.44 + 35x

2.77=35x

X = 0.08 cents per share

0.08 x 2721 bil shares = 217.68m profit


This is a just a rough idea.

Based on my current calculation, with PE of 35 after qr result. Market is expecting a 217m profit .What an undervalue stock. Theoretically and mathematically speaking.

Last month was because of vacinne news. Now becoz of politics.

Relax. Sentiment wont last. Shake out weak sellers before rebound when sentiment eases.

At present, daily covid cases are the highest EVER. 490k cases per day yesterday.

@giantpanda. There are currently 9.9 mil covid cases. Not 42mil. U need to factor in recovered ones.

889 cases are from sabah. Peninsular is still minimal. As stated in the constituion, darurat can be applied to a whole nation or a specific area. I doubt king will commemnce darurat in peninsular malaysia.

No need to worry about the emergency lol. If supermx share drops, just dollar cost average( if u have enough bullets). Even in the worst case scenario, lets say supermx gets 500-600m PAT, fair value will still be at RM12.80- 14. Not only that, supermx will be included in KLCI index very soon, which would mean EPF and index funds( local and foreign) are forced to buy supermx shares which results in supermx's share price trending higher.

At current 9.27 is already a discount. If drops more because of "emergency", JUST SAPU. You not only gain profit but possibly double your profit if spmx goes higher when mr.market realizes the mistake. Only in Boleh land.
