Actually, we must separate out a co's reality with market perception( which determines a share price.)

Buy fr market will be expensive. The Chinese don't just buy the shares per se. They bought the biz with all its debts and future losses ( industry trend & during co restructuring). Thats why that price, i think. Shell is a big MNC, can't afford any hanky panky.

So, noone wants such a lost making co. willc48 not good to hold. should sell since they are taking private at 0.165 after announcing bonus split which causing the price to drop from 0.50++ back to around RM0.145. nice and brilliant tactical moves to acquire back shares at cheaper price

But I'm sure it will rebound strongly when oil price recovers..... Shell afterall a household name. That's why I hope it won't change name.
