Both Affin and MNRB are low P/E, high NTA, cannot lose money if you buy at deep discount. I was earlier accumulating MNRB from 69.5 sen until 83 sen, now I am taking profit on MNRB and using the proceeds to accumulate Affin.

Price stable probably because EPF accumulating. Some weak shareholders are selling and hopefully the selling dries up soon. I will try to buy at 1.45 on Monday.

aklobi, Affin will be issuing dividend in the form of shares at issued price of 1.36 in lieu of cash to shareholders and some of these shareholders are selling now for the extra 9-10 sen. Note that EPF has been accumulating Affin shares recently. Whether interest rate comes down or goes up banks will always make money. I was trying to buy at 1.44 today but not done.

Selling for a profit and then buying back at higher price (with the hope to sell even higher) is a bad strategy. I never do that. I don't sell all in one go but in stages as price climbs. Price doesn't climb up forever.
