Certainty is a very major factor in this regulated business, which will easily warrant a near term re-rating and positive catalyst for the share price. In addition, previous sell down to < 7 was mainly due to the Concession Agreement renewal uncertainty, which has since been renewed for a further 35 years in May 2019. In Mavcom White Paper released yesterday, the other positive for MAHB is the Passenger Service Charge (PSC for transit passengers).

Already Ex-Date with Dividend of 9 sen earned & Share Price still going strong despite current volatile and down trend market. Augurs well once market stabilizes and headed towards Up Cycle.

Need to compare Apple with Apple and Orange with Orange ! Last quarter significant profit increased due to one-off Fair value adjustment. Q1 results already above street and market expectations for FY 2019 & it is just a matter of time that it will head towards/above Target Price of RM8.50, subject to turbulences due to current global market uncertainties and economic vagaries.

QR not good based on the 25%-30% PBT & PAT dropped. It would have been worst if not for the 100m plus one off gain on the disposal of Genting unit in London, UK. Gaming tax hike is here to stay and do not forget the future recurring operating cost impact arising from the recent Equanimity acquisition. In addition, Trumponomics escalating the trade war.

Fantastic QR despite current competitive and challenging economic environment. New High tomorrow towards Target Price :)

@ Mabel You will be duly rewarded. I have a portfolio of 30 Blue Chip shares too. Even a continuous loss-making business for years/quarters like Lafarge can be taken over and share price doubled immediately after the Announcement. I was happily accumulating Lafarge at prices < 2 but have since sold at 3.80. The same for Astro at < 1.1 but exited at > 1.5 too. Switching to Star now after it dipped below 0.70 but selling volume still minimal & need to be patient with the accumulation process without spiking up the price. Also, other good fundamental Blue Chips (MAHB/MBMR/Sime/Inari/SuperMax/Gamuda/Sunway/Hengyuan/IHH/CIMB/Maybank/ABMB/Digital etc.) whenever they hit /nearing their Lows. Diversified Blue Chip portfolio coupled with low entry level/exiting at appropriate level is the best way forward in this current volatile and unstable equity markets. Foreign Funds will always exit and re-enter in droves based on sentiments... Market has NO memory.

Just Buy...Cheap Sale @ 0.65 yesterday due to knee jerk reactions. Buy when there is blood on the street especially on counters that are way below NTA since well supported by Assets & dividends. Absolute bonus if privatization/sale initiated as happened to Lafarge (RM1.90 to RM3.80).

Expected air turbulences in view of current global market vagaries and markets downturn. Risk off approach and profit taking expected under current circumstances. Fundamentals intact and the sky the limit in Medium/Long term.
