I'm just putting things into perspective. You are free to disagree with me. I have no problems with anyone having a different opinion.

Precisely my friend. Even with oil being USD30 and bad QR previously, the counter still survived. So, to say that the counter is going to plunge and become a penny stock, is a bit premature. Plus if it were to stay as a member of the FBM KLCI, I doubt the company nor EPF is going to let the market cap go below the requirement.

There's one thing people have to know about making money, always "buy high, sell low", eh, wait it might be the other way around? shoot i'm confused.. =o)

What if you buy again, then it drops? Do another "Stoploss"? Then after that I buy again, it drops again, and then I have to do another StopLoss. =)

No point knowing when it will be out or what the result is, "apparently" everyone knows the result already before hand.
2016-06-16 16:52 | Report Abuse
Think of it this way. Once you sell off your stake, you'll be waiting sideline, hence there is a limit to the drop. What are the odds that you keep on, consistently, buying high and selling low?

You should accept that people have different view on things, that's life. You win some, you lose some.

Not sure why you are so determined to annoy him. He has his opinion, you have your opinion. I call it fair. But you insisted that he has to "agree" with you until you let it go, what's up bro..

You do know that based on today's news, there is still a 50% chance that brexit will not happen right?

Once the general population can afford to buy a Tesla car and going green, we should start panicking and start selling already my friend. Until then, this issue is insignificant.

Funny how until today I can't seem to figure out how everyone knows the Quarterly Results before it comes out.
2016-06-14 16:39 | Report Abuse
Seems like every Tom, Dick and Harry have seen the Quarterly Report before it came out except for me.
2016-06-14 09:52 | Report Abuse
Seems like you are trying your best to convince everyone to sell, there must be some kind of benefit you want to derive from this. If I feel that the stock is doing so so bad, you know what, I'll keep quiet, then I can sell early when the price is still high, no?
2016-06-13 16:35 | Report Abuse
The share has already absorb all bad news and bad results in the past, hence why the share price is RM1.60 per share. Anymore bad news from the Quarterly Report would be immaterial at this point. Even if the market does react to it, the impact would be very minimal.
2016-06-13 16:26 | Report Abuse
Just some random info. Previously the when last Quarter result and Annual Report came out, and the company reported losses, the price stayed flat and uptrend. Hope this helps =)
2016-06-10 10:37 | Report Abuse
If below RM1.65 per share, then downtrend?
2016-06-08 16:36 | Report Abuse
So, stronger USD and interest rate hike, would not have much impact on the oil price going forward. Correct me if i'm wrong.
2016-06-08 16:33 | Report Abuse
Oil price movement was purely based on supply and demand. Exchange rate and Interest rate movement would affect the economy and company performance to a certain extent.

Based on its current performance and if it stays the same, conservatively speaking, this share should be trading at best RM1.00 per share (approx RM0.70 would be fair). RM1.50 per share is overpriced.
2016-06-03 16:16 | Report Abuse
You have a point, the stock has already absorbed all the bad news. Anyways, might want to lookout for the U.S. jobs data coming soon, the feel is it is going to be positive. If it does, we should see some good buying on Monday. Just my 2 cents.

Based on the yesterday's OPEC news, there should be limited downside risk from here onwards for this stock. I will be surprised if it drops in value.

Anyone can point me to any news saying OPEC and Saudi cutting production? From what I read, no deal will be struck as Iran is not agreeable to it.
2016-05-31 16:01 | Report Abuse
hahaha you missed out one scenario, what if "price low + volume production high.....?"
2016-05-31 15:46 | Report Abuse
Yup. Volume will be up, but gross margin stays the same. I would agree at this point, oil discovery has minimal impact on the financials.
2016-05-31 15:12 | Report Abuse
hng33, point me to the news section which talks about this "hike" you are talking about. All news for now are pointing to the the oil price going downwards in the near future once the oil companies resumes production after the supply disruption. Hope you can provide a link on the news where you got it from, else it would be just figures pluck from the sky.

2016-05-30 11:59 | Report Abuse
Anyone willing to share their opinion on the fair value of this share with the current outlook?
2016-05-30 11:56 | Report Abuse
I think you are not that far off. RM2.70 per share is fair in my opinion. Just my 2 cents. I could be right, I could be wrong. It depends on what assumptions you made.
2016-05-27 09:46 | Report Abuse
If the fair value is RM2.70 per share, then at the trading price of RM2.01 (ex-bonus), the share is undervalued. That's an approximate 35% gain on investment.
2016-05-26 18:39 | Report Abuse
If you want to know the adjustment, all you have to do is find out the price of the share price prior to the adjustment, say RM3.30. The adjustment will be RM3,300 (1,000 shares @ RM3.30) + RM1,020 (400 shares @ RM2.55) divide 1,400 shares = RM3.08 (ex-right). So since the price is trading at RM2.82 now and assuming it stays there, the bonus adjustment will be RM3,948 (1,400 shares @ 2.82) divide 1,960 shares (1,400 shares + 560 shares) = RM2.01 (ex-bonus).
2016-05-26 18:13 | Report Abuse
Your calculation is very confusing. Btw, for every 1,000 shares, you will have 400 rights shares to subscribe and a bonus of 560 bonus shares = 1,960 shares all together. Hence your calculation already included the bonus, where else our calculations is only up to the rights issue.
2016-05-26 17:44 | Report Abuse
Some calculations for your reference: If you have 400 units of OR, means you have 1,000 shares now. Sell the OR: your cost would be RM2,820 (1,000 shares @ RM2.82) less RM74 (400 @ RM0.185) = RM2,746 (for 1,000 shares your cost is RM2.75 per share). Subscribe rights issue: your cost would be RM2,820 (1,000 shares @ 2.82) + RM1,020 (400 @ RM2.55) = RM3,840 (for 1,400 shares your cost is RM2.74 per share).
2016-05-26 17:31 | Report Abuse
He was asking whether to "sell the OR" or "subscribe the rights". Your math is comparing to "buy the OR & subscribe" or to "buy the share now". It's two different thing.

2016-05-26 16:05 | Report Abuse
Yes, you will have to pay RM1,020.00. When they announce the bonus issue entitlement date, then you will get the other 560 bonus shares. The form will tell you the exact amount to pay for the rights issue.

There are cases where companies could even make profit with low disposal consideration. Hence, there is no impact on shareholders whether it is high or low.
2016-05-26 11:15 | Report Abuse
Naruko, how do you define "high price"? If you can somehow manage to define what amount is considered "high price" and convince me that "high price" translates to "profit", then I would definitely take that as "good news".

I would enter at this level, but the main question to ask is whether to wait for the "Brexit" or not. If Brexit doesn't happen, this stock wouldn't be at this level anymore. But if it does, we have no clue on the direction, could be up could be down. Just my 2 cents.
