usually the modus operandi for mgmt to push for conversion is not like this..... not within the first week of push-up..... what i have seen is either a slow push upwards (inch by inch) of mother with son not moving; or both mother and son drastic upwards (for usually 2 weeks or so) and then heavy selling of son but mother slight drop only...... well, just to share from my experience. disclaimer - tis is not a buy or sell call, trade cautiously

rights issue by itself has no meaning..... it is what mgmt does with the funds that matters. if i view this positively, mgmt would already have earmarked acquisitions (good or bad dunno) thus the need for additional funding......

director selling shares - only 180k shares...... and that was on 10/7, even 11/7 (yesterday) still pushing up...... thus, i dun see this scenario as a correlation to start dumping
