Who cares who blow up? If the transactions are legit, it is easy to refute kpmg, and the existing audit committee will be fast to response (they were strangely quiet for few days, like oh shit, please this is not real, or is it real? and this includes the chairman of audit committee who was a retired kpmg partner ).
