Not a good counter to invest. And especially now when property market is at its peak, closer to our Malaysian budget where the gov will introduce more tools to slowdown property development. 2015 won't be a good year for PD, probably it'll only start to improve again in 2017

Hello christine, I'm still holding and never sold a single share. My best investment ever. Just that some people love to posts false news and I'm here to correct things.

Bullbear777, can u stop lying to people on the points you mentioned? Point 3 and 4 are totally untrue. There is no jv discussion and its something u pluck from the air. Neither is there any alipay taking a stake. Show us your facts or source if there is any. I own ghlsys shares myself but I don't resort to stupid speculations to entice amateurs to buy the stock.
Also point 2 doesn't make any sense. M&a with epay has alrdy happened so what do u mean by show hand? Another acquisition? That is also a speculation from you. If you are so shameful to post these untrue and false facts again, you're just one big conman. I suggest investors do some research on the validity of his mentioned points before investing.
Its just so easy to spot another liar and shallow investor in this thread, that is u bullbear. I know u want to promote but please promote with facts, not your misleading and false facts. That's plain idiocy and sinful. Show me the source of your facts if you want to prove yourself, otherwise just admit your mistake.

Problem is that no one plays this company anymore. The trading volume is very low. Its time to take the money off the table if you're fairly profitable.

Bullbear777, of coz I know who they are. But your analysis or maybe ur English was used badly. It doesn't explain anything and is really shallow. Improve yourself and don't act like an imbecile here. Be professional.

I don't know what he is saying for point 2 to 4 from madiba. Looks speculative and baseless in nature to entice amateurs to buy this counter. None of the points except point one is true. And what exactly show hand means? Doesn't make any sense at all. Hope to see more smarter comments from forumers here rather than just giving shallow and awkward advices that doesn't make any sense.

Good job GHLSYS, really good job. Hope to see meaningful earnings next quarter and good news from Philippines and Thailand. Crucial stage of implementation at Philippines right now. If the banks are good to go, GHLSYS will have extremely bright future being a pioneer to tap into many SEA countries.

To be frank, this counter gave me the largest gains I've ever had in my history of investing. With great volume and attractive entry price, I'm willing to do so, even at that time the PE isn't looking "good" like most forummers here complaint. But why short-sighted people keep looking only at PE, and not cash levels, gearing levels, management competency, involvement private equity, etc.
People keep bashing about this company due to poor accounting ratios. But not all ratios are bad other than PE. If only a single indicator is used to value a company, then good luck to that person.

Apini, I don't want to be involved in btwn the feud of u n MC. Let her say whatever she wants and if you're unhappy just confront her.
The premium built into this company cannot be seen from accounting wise, that's what makes it so hard to value. Its just whether you see or you don't. If everything can be seen on the books, everyone is rich by now.

kk123, u dont say? tell me why censof moved up all a sudden without any reason? fundamentally it did not change. no new contracts ,etc. what people see is the hype. the hype that will potentially transform this company into a better company in future. was O&G a hype? i think it is.
2014-09-15 22:21 | Report Abuse
Angie, from what i observe, Censof tends to move sideways or corrects everytime it surges. Wait for the right entry at approximately 0.55 or lower to get in. Unless you are afraid to miss out sudden further gains, you can just buy at seller's price directly. Depending if you're long-term or short-term player, the strategy would be different. At all time high, fundamentalist would prefer to wait. Unless you intend to punt in short-term, buying at 0.59 wouldnt be a big problem as previous high was 0.7 and with the GST hype going on, it'll definitely surge past 0.60 in short-term.

To me, frankly speaking, all these news and stories, how BV made his money buy pumping and dumping etc, are not important to me at all. These stories being discussed and discussed again bears no benefit to people. One thing, we have no idea what BV is thinking and even if we do, how does it change the way we invest in future?
By sticking to the fundamental rules of investing, does all these mean anything? By fundamental rules, I wouldn't even pick IFCA and PDZ.
In the end it all depends on discipline and patience, not by following big players on how they trade. We must be able to develop a skill that personifies ourselves and not following the others. Warren Buffett has his own character in investing and so must we all. Get a character of your own in investing that works and keep doing it.

Seriously, there are so many amateurs here. A married deal means people are interested to buy into the company and Anne has already said she's willing to sell part of her shares to bring major shareholders interested to participate growing the company together.
Is this married deal a good or bad thing? Ask yourself this. If a company quarterly profits fell, will you still buy the company shares from Anne Kung? A smart person with so much money wouldn't do that. There must be a good reason why this is done, probably the new major shareholder can contribute to bring this company to a new level with his or her experience or networking.
The interesting thing about Instacom, despite its poor results, is that it has the intangible value or premium attached to it as it is one of the biggest company in Sarawak and Sabah in telco tower business. I believe the new shareholder sees the opportunity coming soon with potential announcements to be made by this year end.
If Anne Kung sold her shares via open market, I will definitely sell the shares immediately. But interestingly she sold it via a married deal which makes the entire situation different again. I would rather hold on awhile more to see what is going to happen. Its really unwise to blindly to sell because of a married deal. Many companies prosper and flourish when new shareholders join in. Look at GHLSYS, Elsoft and EAH.

Guys, let's keep this thread professional. I see some wild animals have invaded this place by bragging how much they earned in an unrelated counter from this thread. You know who you are and we are not interested in your profits or losses. These numbers can be easily bragged without evidence, just like blowing your own trumpet. Do not humiliate yourself here and make yourself look anymore dumb. This thread needs more people that can share their own views, beyond common views and critically discuss for the betterment of all fellow investors.
Those that intended to bark on their gains, please leave this place for good. Go back to your own thread to bark, or if you're also uninvited there, you can bark to a tree.

sunztzhe, thanks for your fair share. Hope to hear more valuable comments from you in the future.
kingdavid, you seem to have misunderstood. I never intended to be arrogant but merely pointing out your mistake in your analysis. I may be too straightforward but merely to make a very clear point. Even you admitted now that the RM6.7 million should not be used to project future earnings. If you find my comments too straightforward, I must say first hand, that it's meant for good. I can be harsh in my writing but I just want to make sure people are not misled by wrong facts, and that your initial statement was indeed wrong. Such misconception could lead to amateur investors into believing Censof's profit is RM6.7m instead of RM1.7m.
We all bought Censof as part of our investment portfolio because we foresee the company to grow in a whole new level in future. With our objectives aligned, we share a common goal and any valuable critical comments should be interpreted positively. Discussions can be tensed during this period but in the end everyone learns something from it.
For you calling me as arrogant, I do not feel so at all as I know my comments are for the benefits of the rest. If you think my style of conveying a message hurts you, you have not seen how a real corporate environment works, or even if you do, its not the darkest you have seen.

The volume we observed for the past few days were not seen since January. Does this indicates that people are starting to see the value of this counter? Right now, what is going to be next trend coming 2015? For the past 2 years was O&G, this year is Real Estate, how about next year? Will it be GST related stocks? If you think GST is going to bring a new change to the Msia spending system as well as the way of doing business, counters you should monitor are those that has good management team, great product and economic moat. That is the reason why I purchased Censof and GHLSYS last year, with a foresight that these companies will benefit.
As the largest e-payment company in Msia, GHLSYS definitely has the economic moat. It is also growing in other countries within ASEAN. Censof meanwhile is the largest accounting software supplier to more than 80++ government agencies. They are also building OBB softwares for the gov. You can attend their global conference in Vietnam where they will be discussing on that topic.
No doubt as of now, the gains were not spectacular but bought in large volumes and at their lows, I believe investors with patience will be able to reap the benefit of these companies like its major shareholders. Investing is all about time for news, and time for earnings. It will be extremely satisfactory to be able to spot a counter in which no one spotted earlier to shine and flourish for many years to come. But that requires the patience and willpower to hold when times can be volatile.
2014-08-29 18:22 | Report Abuse
I'm not sure how sustainable is IFCA's business is comapared to Censof. IFCA's business to China and Msia could only be one-off and only caters for property businesses. Censof meanwhile deals with the Gov and offers wide ranging products via Dnex and Telmex.

Kukuman, many companies like Inari, Iris, KNM, TA have been stucked at one price or trending lower. But times will change and company will turnaround. The 3 biggest shareholders owns almost more than 50% of the whole company. Do you think they want to see their company share price stay stagnant forever?
Developments you see recently will shape the future of the company provided you are patient. The stagnant in price is infact a good indicator because it shows a very good support level despite global market selloffs. It's a very strong indication, if you havent see it, that it will move upwards soon. They need to make sure they can get the GST contracts from the government + OBB contracts along the way where all gov agencies are required to use MyResults by early 2016.

4u2c, its not typo error. Censof didnt not own more than 50% shares in Dnex. Technically they cannot consolidate the earnings into their books. The % of ownership will be used, and the final results are RM1.7 million. I'm in accounting field and finance industry for many years, and too familiar with this.
2014-08-29 16:42 | Report Abuse
Kingdavid, can you tell me how do you get RM6.7 million profit? That RM6.7 million is not the right figure to use as it is not the profit attributable to owners of the company. That profit is based on consolidation of DNEX which is not accurate because DNEX is owned less than 50% by Censof. The right figure to use is RM1.7 million. Just look at KLSEscreener, they used RM1.7m instead of RM6.7m.
If you can't even understand basic accounting, please don't make urself look worse. I'm from accounting background and this is a common mistake made by investors. You took the wrong figure in the books for comparison. I hope you don't feel offended by my honesty but I really hope you understand what im trying to explain here, otherwise you may need to do more research on this first.

KingDavid, the NTA ratio to share prices of the Company varies in different industries. HIgh growth counters ought to have higher share price in relation to NTA. Manufacturing companies may have higher NTA in comparison to share prices. It all depends on the perceived growth rate. You still seem to be clueless what I'm trying to imply here.

IFCA is catered for commercial business, while Censof is mostly for the Gov, just like MYEG and Prestariang. The big impact will definitely come from the Gov as the contracts are extremely huge.
Its just a matter of time to prove this. Hold tight, wait and watch.
Further, KingDavid made a comparision with GHLSYS. This is very misleading as both Censof and GHLSYS do not provide the same business solutions. It is irrelevant to point this out and compare valuations like that. The premium built into GHLSYS is different compared to Censof due to difference in the perceived growth rate. Truthfully, GHLSYS deserves it current valuation while Censof is no doubt a very undervalued stock compared to IFCA.. Comparisons should be made against IFCA and not GHLSYS.
Not trying to defend any counters but please think first and comment wisely.

On a seperate note, its worth to note that this is just the start of something huge. Note the management explained that TPA business has yet to commence operations in several countries. What happens if it begins operations in Q4? It will be one big positive full blown effect to the books.
Also, note the cash level of GHL now is extremely high, over RM74 million. These money I think would be put in to good use for M&As into Indonesia.
