I think the RI is a bad option. A better option would be to sell more asset (such as Dayang and be more focus on property and construction ).The amount of RI will dilute the earnings by more than 1/2! And at price of 45 cent the RI is deem too expensive compare to current share price ~70c. Maybe someone with more in-depth knowledge can share more insights..

most of the other licensees (especially small players) are politically related (to previous BN govt). Their game is to apply political pressure using through the authority (Mxxx) to lower rental cost from TM. I hope the new PH govt are aware of this and not a party to their game. Rental should be based on purely commercial win win basis.

lot of people here talk about TM a monopoly. Check lah...Maxis, Digi etc all have licence for Fixed Line business (beside their mobile license whereas TM was NOT allowed to have mobile license)! Why these mobile operators (except Maxis who do on very limited scale) do not want to roll-out their FL, why??? Simple, it involve large investment with miniscule roi. This is the reason why the other operators choose to `tumpang' TM fiber optic and use their `connections' to pressure TM to lower the rental cost. TM being a GLC have no choice...have to serve the rakyat. It is a pity that the first thing the new PH govt does is to lower TM broadband tariff. Not that I disagree with this, but they should also target the mobile broadband tariff and the much worse speed issue.
