RM7 before January Nasdaq crash (inflation, rate hike etc)
RM5 before mid-Feb fear of Rus-Ukr war kicks in
RM4 on 24 Feb when Rus-Ukr war started
RM2.8 by 8 Mar due to war uncertainty and sanctions flying around soaring oil prices

and then the recent recovery from RM2.8 - RM4.8 stated by you as the market learn to cope with the war and not over-react.

From RM7 to RM4.8 is a 30% correction stamping from the tech crash early this year.
From RM2.8 to RM4.8 is a 80% recovery from maximum uncertainty - fear of WW3.

Do also study the covid crash back in Mar 2020, and ask your self why the crash only lasted a month. Use brain to invest, not emotions. Don't follow random "sifu" online or fear mongering people.

Yeah, I don't mind it being sideways for the time being. Helps flush out the swing traders, so the forum can be peaceful and potentially insightful again.

Yeah, I'm expecting another dive right before the next QR for people to last minute price-in the "fear". Can only decide whether to buy after the QR though, betting on glove counters (regardless short or long) is very risky, I feel.

Are we expecting the cukai makmur to be reflected in the next QR?

@bang_misking I sold ~20% at 4.9, but that's because I want to have more cash for potentially other opportunities, and I'm ready to let go any future potential gains from the number of shares I've sold. Happy to buy back if it ever revisits 3.8 though.

I've entered since 6.5, and managing to average down to 4 plus taking small profits, can't say I'm not happy about that. Holding Greatech at 4 is like traveling back in time to buy before it was anywhere close to RM7, I remember researching and studying about the stock at RM6.9. For now, just got to be patient and wait for Greatech's future results to demonstrate if they can meet the growth expectations and also watch for more opportunities in other counters for now.

Just gonna keep my eyes wide open.

@Monetary yeap definitely, trade with spare cash. I will not sell everything in Greatech until at least when their growth stagnated for some time, or something adverse happened to the management/business.

@investmalaysia - no one dare to buy is a way of looking at it. Lack of interest from the market, and those interested had already bought enough and are waiting for long term gains can be the other perspective. Not everyone trades full time and only want to get profit from swings.

I wish for long term gains, but wont be deterred by short term dips as well because I'm prepared. Not wishing for the dips of course, but I'll be ready to buy more. Don't want to speak for other people, but I think bang miskin is on a similar boat.

rr88 cut loss? more like taking profits, some form of correction is due, long term investors are willing to see past this, probably take some profit from the extra purchases @2.8.

And I never personally attack him, merely teased and taunted that his "confident" calls has been wrong. Be more reserved, don't cause harm to others.

Intention is nothing in comparison to the effect of an action. No matter how good the intention, watch your words and what you may cause to others. I don't like to hate on people, but what happened to you is a perfect reason why rr should me more reserved than to going around giving confirmation about what will happen in the future.

Future is never certain, and there bound to be gullible people that follow blindly and make poor decision by intepreting wrongly. Someone with knowledge and good intention should do and say things that helps, not potentially sending people to extreme swing destinations without context.

yeap, real life case stufy: rr88 bought at ~2.95 and sold at 3.19 (sold on early March) and then asked the whole world to sell. Could've gotten additional 400%++ gains from his 0.24 per share if he waited another 10+ days, but who would've know?
