OWG financial performance the last couple of years at best is below expectation. Not surprise with investor which are frustratred with OWG.

Amusement Operation especially The Top in Komtar have not been as what we would we would have expect. At the same time Kota Tinggi Resort was closed last quarter with a write off about 1.3 million losses , their other retail business despite the YOY improvement is still in the red, still will need more effort before delivering profit.

Their only hope is the food operation, even then the margin have reduce YOY.

The resumption of Outdoor theme park (OTP) is definitely a good news to OWG, yet assuming it can resume operation in Q1 2020, the result will only come in May 2020 QR and full impact in August 2020 QR.

Today spike may follow through next week or it may not but eventually it will pull back once the excitement is over, my view is price uptrend is only sustainable once the profit is consistently uptrending.

Will revisit in 2020 , the next waves of uptrend subject to profit performance from OTP.

Just my 2 cents opinion

p/s at least the worst is over , will be surprise it it fall to 50 sens again. Not likely

i always try not to associate the quartely result with the price, rather i judge if the price have factor in the coming result.

In the case of WZS , my 2 cents opinion is the current price have factor in next quarter anticipated loss.
