Do you know how much AA paid taxes to the Malaysian Government in the last 25 years. Saving AA is not only social obligation to the Malaysians but it is becoming financial obligation to the government. MAS on the other hand has been breastfeeding on the government since the day it was born - shame! Monopoly in 2020 clearly is a sin. Who needs monopoly these days? Only corrupt government! Globally every body is moving towards competition for best service and lowest cost to customers not monopoly to hit customers hard with lousy service like MAS in the old days .. aiyoo Malaysia is going so backward

AA MAS is going to be a big mistake. If the government is smart they just kill MAS and keep AA as it is. Fact is post corona, we dont need MAS anymore but we are going to need AA much more! MAS business model sucks and they cant be saved anymore.

Wow WTI drops so much but Brent is steady!! Must have been due to the spread of Saudi May prices to USA vs to Europe/Asia. This is good for Dayang! Who trades WTI in this part of the world anyway.. kikiki

Are Arabs (UAE) good paymaster ? Do they honor payment for works done ?

They are rich and good pay masters but they are very strict on the quality of the delivered products/services. Arabic version of the contracts is most likely to prevail instead of English version .. so need to be very careful on the terms and conditions. Lots of companies get their hands burnt ...

If the OnG market is high, SerbaD may not want to let go their project because their OnG project is still cashing lots. Now is a good time for Barakah to nego for project and SerbaD needs capital for its 7.7bil new contract plus other resources too. It may make sense and work well to both parties. The question is to buy or not to buy kikiki ...

Next week this counter will shoot up. Save the best for last. All gloves counter will reach high high high! RM20billion worth of gloves are to be exported and all production lines are full.

TF said AA still got cash! Government loan is coming too. It’s just a matter of time. Recession and Covid come and go. Company likes AA will need decades to be built so Government is very much going to provide soft loan. Relax .... AA will back to RM2-3 again after all of this is over

If SerbaD gives project to Barakah, this counter will soon jump to RM0.20 cents!!

US doesn't want to cut oil production and most of shale oil companies already hedged their oil price for 2020. US only contemplates if it is possible to put back their excess oil into storage/oil reserve. Lower production means more American will lose jobs as there are more than 10,000 shale oil producers in USA (companies + individuals). Habislah like this!

This is not about Russia or USA. Russia and USA are not part of OPEC. This is about market share. You lose market share, you lose control in the market. Isn’t it obvious?

Dayang is definitely for a long term investment. OPEC’s position aka Saudi’s is very clear that oil must not be excluded in the future energy mix. Regardless how bullish the demand for renewable energy, movement on climate change etc etc, oil must always be there. This war is a strategic move for demand creation. It gives a strong message that OPEC is still in charge and is willing to get their hands dirty to compete. As long as Dayang is able to minimize their costs, utilise their assets, no impairment issues and meet their target growth, Dayang should be fine ....

Current high oil inventories globally won’t even push Brent price to up at all. It will take some months before we consume those back and when demand starts to pick up again post Corona. The things is recession will hit us back just we thought everything would be ok. Oil price is expected to hover between $10 - $20/bbl with massive layoffs everywhere :((

We are at the brink of recession. IMF just declared it. But this time it is going to be shorter than usual as most countries have allocated stimulus packages at the time it is about to happen. Corona or not, we are doomed and be always prepared for the worse.

Virus is only half of the problem. Saudi oil war with Russia is still ongoing. Casualty could be the shale oil producers in USA soon and could crash DJ the second time ....
