Based on today figure, i dont think there is alornof retailers in aax stock.. mainly ib or bank playing. Previously if suxh results hit, you will see 100million shares exchanged. Today only 40 millions plus.

Agreed with chaostrader. Abit of palpitation when you have the commentators coming with hype. I think foreign investors is not diving in. This is abit weird as most of the time you have a hike before the qr. i dont think the qr will be bad. Normal with profit. There is a possibility it wil maintain to get rid of contra ans short term.

I dont know about you guys... but i need to thank the youngsters... they are making certain business really grow beyond their traditional means. Back in my days, i will only travel or fly when i have substantial savings. Even i do fly.. i go really cheap and save every penny.

My MAIN CONCERN for AAX to go up. two things..
1.) whether their current pricing and load factor allows them to cover their operating cost and enable to earn them minimal profit.
2.) hows the ancillary income with 79% load factor...

If the above 2 is sorted.. i think AAX will grow in a good phase for the next 2-3 years...

Ancillary income is something to look at. Even for me.. sometimes u go travelling.. my ass itchy and buy some stuff on board. Those aare actually good income i was told. I traveled with AAX a couple of times.. Its all about human psyc. I was sitting beside a couple. Im sure they got their ticket vastly cheap.. as they were bragging is cheaper than other airlines. But when the air stewarddess coming down the aisle with the trolley. Next thing you know.. the lady asked her partner to get something fr her as she is hungry and thirsty. being a guy, the guy happily bought something from the air stewardess at a PREMIIUM price. I can tell you the guy didnt even feel he was paying extra for the flight. All he think was its SUNK Cost for his partner. loll...

bluebiznet,,, rest assured with AAX model.. Any routes not making profit. they will refund and axed them almost immediately. Because they based their calculation on the forward booking. They can roughly estimate the future load and whether they should hold on or use the aircraft on new or existing routes.

bluebiznet,,,i cant list all the flight route for you. You can google them up. And analyze yourself whether all these routes is profit making for AAX. As far as im concern, the routes are generally doing ok. X means 5 hours and above flight routes.

in fact i was expecting the load to drop this time area. Due to the two Australia flight scare happened a few months back with media backfire. I assume alot of people will think twice about AAX and its reputation.. my klia2 friends told me AAX load was still good based on their daily observations. I guess its good to be wrong on this one.

Just to be fair... Im not promoting people to buy... Im holding AAX shares.. IN CASE someone Taruh me for being bias...

bornwinner... im a human afterall... is just a personal opinion of mine. I know alot of ppl got burnt when it surge up to 0.55... i believe a number is stucked in that range. But i see silver lining in AAX cloud. It will surge again 2018 towards the end. Its good to keep first. You never know any good news may pop up along the way. I sold mine in view of my financial commitment. I never expected it to dive back to this range again.

In terms of oil price, if it wasnt for the extension cut, we are in over supply market by technicality. Most analyst believe the oil price wont surge beyond USD 60-70 plus range. I believe the oil market is in speculative mode. If it goes higher then the shale fellas will come back in. Most people dont expect to see USD100 per barrel anytime soon. With that in mind, AAX should be relatively comfortable.

airlines competition wise... thanks to Msia govt.. MAS services willbe back to square one. In fact most Malaysians would rather take Cathay, SIA, Emirates to travel abroad.

Lucky for AAX thanks to the current generation.. ITS A MUST TO TRAVEL... welcome to the kardashian era..Full feldge airline is finding it hard to keep up with low cost long haul airlines. The point SIA is using Scoot to coming into the market already shows plenty of potential in Asia market. AAX is smart and learnt from their previous lession. They wont go into europe or long routes as long as the plane fuel consumption and oil price are high. They are not interested in eyeing major routes. in short, they are not interested to open clinic in Klang valley when they have to work hard to get their load factor up. They rather open in small town area and conquer the whole market. Full fledge airlines cant afford to counter such strategy because branding and risk exposure is not worthy for them.

by the way.. where is Radzi.. iknow jjchan already long gone and he is into other stocks these days... lol i know radzi is still holding AAX... somehow i have a weird feeling he is not saying much and anticipating something will happen soon.

bornwinner... i think you have mistaken AAX with other stocks.. Its not quick money. Its going towards as a growth stock. you have many aircraft coming in the next few years. It will be a different ball game all together. Whether AAX price can go up, it will depends on the route they pick.

At the current moment, with their 33 aircraft and operating statistics. I would say they are doing a great job. Im sorry this stock has dissapointed you. But AAX has been on my good books.. since its 0.25-0.3 days... I think it will continue to grow till 0.7 in near term. Beyond that, its anyone guess. I dont know which route they will pick and whether it will generate revenue. The fact that they cut down Aussie route and moving to Asia market. I think the strategy its really working out for them. You know they are filling up the planes. Im not sure how the ticketing price gonna affect the quarter results.

Since they have hedged the full till year end. So regardless of oil market fluctuation, AAX results will not be affected till 1stqr 2018. Since the passengers load is good, we should expect profit in quarter 3 again.
