CPO price is still trending down. Other plantation counters are trending down too. This counter consider good already since it s no longer trending down and maintaining.

It depends how you interpret the latest results. If you look at it from the annual basis, of course it has been expected to do poorer than 2013. On other hand, if you look at the quarterly basis, it has already break even its profit performance. That would probably mean that in Q3 2014, the results would most probably better than Q3 2013. That's what matters most. It finally done with its bottom and now it's the cycle to perform better than previous quarters.

Mas is burning cash everyday and AAX is generating positive cash. On other words, the loss is just an accounting figure and statement. The main thing is whether their operation is generating enough cash to run the business. Look at the cash flow and operation profit.

I hope with the release of positive result by PRA this 21 August, there could be more uptrend...

Isn't that building, owning and managing own malls are their strategy in moving forward at the first place? Is there any short of cash to go for such disposal?

Why is the management disposing the mall when it is profitable and making long term gain? Is this a valid management decision or for personal reasons to cash out? I start to have some concerns on such move.

Q2 results was fantastic!

The cost of operating has increased tremendously. Believe AAX needs a lot more of consolidation before the operation becomes more cost efficient.

I was aiming for Parkson to breakeven in term of profit in Q3 2014. It seems they managed to make it in Q2 for PRG. Now just wait for PRA results and see.

If you read the report carefully, it wasn't a quarterly report but 6 months report. If you compare Q2 2014 with Q2 2013, it is actually a better performing quarter. No worry about the 6 months performance because this has been factored in when they released the Q1 2014 results as most drop were in Q1 2014 and not Q2 2014.

CEO of AAX said 2nd half of the year to break even and make profit. Not 2nd Quarter. The coming result is for 2nd Quarter so it's no surprise if still making small loss.

This counter has dropped 50% in 2 years time too. So it's possible to double back in 2 years time or drop another 50% in 2 years time. At the end of day, what is your take and view on the viability of the business?

The privatization is never for the minority's interests. Forget bout higher offer unless you have enough shareholding to vote against the offer price. Now it depends on institutional holding to decide. Mind you, majority are GLC or need to oblige the government. Hence, most would agree even if it s a loss to them. Just write it off as bad investment choice. For those who bought below 20 cents, well done...For those who have been keeping and holding MAS shares for years, time to let go and accept the loss and bad investment choice.

Yes, it will go down again as normal until a solid financial result is out and pointing to improvement. Am still waiting for Q3 results which may be the break even point for downtrend after 2.5 years.

OLH won't want to make you rich. He wants the max for himself. That's his style all this while. If you are lucky, you may get some "crumbs" after he sapu all the "biscuits".

If there is a merge but no change to the way they manage MAS and continue to have loop side procurement contracts and policies, it just delay the death of MAS and this time, it wants to bring along AAX.

I see no reasons for AAX to merge except for political pressure. Unless, AAX management is given the mandate to govern and manage the merged entity, this is not a good merge at all to AAX.

Ppl suppose to chase it last week and not today as it is already ex date. Sometime it's really weird with this Parkson counter. Are they expecting Parkson to release good results?

Why is it that treasury shares dividend would dilute the share's price? It's not even new shares being issued?

This is not just a plane crash or accident or even involve only MAS. It could be a trigger point and boiling point of the tension between the West and Russia. It could spark a war if not being managed properly and carefully.

Then all counters in all markets would be doomed.

5.64% is sufficient to pay the dividend shares as highlighted by Azizulzaman and hng33. Treasury shares are not entitled to shares dividend.

The shares dividend didn't manage to push the price up. Guess ppl has learnt their lessons during the first round of shares dividend back in April.

With 90 days of negotiation and the rights for extension period, there could be various possibilities and hence, the share price would be in an inactive mode after the previous rallying. I recalled that the share price stayed in the range of RM2 before the rallying and believe this should be the support price until more promising news about the merger.

Prepare to buy and keep for at least 3 months.

T+3 is coming and more will take profit or forced sell.

jackson007, it won't be disregarded. Last round I received 204 units. The fraction refers to those decimal such as if you have odd lot like 1704, based on calculation you should receive 102.24 units. 0.24 would be disregard. That s the meaning of fraction.

Just a statement from the CEO and the counter moves. Even if it drops after Q2 results, I can't sell it as my price is at 0.86. I only can further average it down and hope for better results in Q3 and Q4.

I still trying to figure out on how to sell off those odd shares? Anyone has any ideas? Some mentioned before that you can contact your broker to sell it off for you.

If I am not mistaken,the acquirer (in this case can be Khazanah) can offer a takeover exercise and by the time the deadline is achieved, should the acquirer gained more than 90% of the shares, it is bound to offer a mandatory takeover. By that time, minority can't say no to it although minority shareholders can make a big fuss and initiate a court case against the takeover. This usually only delay the takeover or prompt the acquirer to offer a higher price. But being minority shareholders, usually would be squeezed and you don't have the firepower and resources to fight such a long and tedious court case.

At the end, the big fish always win.
