Calvintan, don't affect by datuk. Stick with your own plan, BJCORP is a very good gem. Result going to release soon. At least 200mil profit will show in this quarter report. Many insider that related to Berjaya has start accumulated BJCORP.. No one can confirm when it will shoot up, but at least we can confirm they are preparing for it.

MyTV Broadcasting Sdn Bhd will be launching its five core services for the digital terrestrial television (DTT) switchover in the second quarter of next year instead of after the analogue switch off in 2016, as originally intended.
The five services are TV and radio (both accessible via DTT broadcast), connected services, transaction commerce and soft services (accessible via broadband or 4G LTE).
MyTV chief commercial officer Haniza Ros Nasaruddin said the five services for the DTT project would be the key drivers of the company’s revenue.
“The five are a combination of the traditional revenue that’s now being applied in any other mature market and our own business model, which we are generating not just for MyTV but for content players to actually earn more on top of advertising revenue,” she said in an interview with The Edge Financial Daily.
“When it comes to the participation of viewers, there are some methods that we are going to introduce. The more it’s used, the more income will be generated,” she added.
MyTV chief operating officer Mohamed Redzwan Yahya said apart from advertising revenue, the company had worked out a number of other ways to collaborate with its subscribers.
“We offer subscriber management systems because we know who the owners of the set top boxes (STB) are, so we can work together with, say, a pay TV operator and go on a revenue share basis,” he said.
“We also have what we call a playout centre for new operators who do not want to invest in building a TV station but have content. This may be in line with broadcasters who want to go on retail, meaning they only want to transmit for a few hours a day,” said Redzwan.
MyTV cannot charge incumbent broadcasters like TV1, TV2, and TV3 for their services during the two year simulcast period — when both analogue and digital broadcasting services will be simultaneously available.
But new operators and content providers who have expressed interest in MyTV will not enjoy the same exemption.
“I can only say that the capacity we have may not be enough,” Redzwan said when asked who are the potential new parties that will subscribe to MyTV’s services.
MyTV is a special purpose vehicle set up by Puncak Semangat Sdn Bhd to build and operate the infrastructure and network facilities for the DTT project. Puncak Semangat is wholly-owned by the Al-Bukhary group, which in turn is controlled by tycoon Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary.
MyTV’s shareholders are Altel Holdings Sdn Bhd, Tan Sri Zainol Anwar and Datuk Abdullah Kadir Bacha.
The DTT project is part of a digital switchover initiative, in which analogue free-to-air broadcasting services will be replaced by digital transmission.
The initial migration to digital will be for government-owned and private stations, namely TV1, TV2, TV3, ntv7, 8TV, TV9, TV Al-Hijrah and Bernama TV.
Puncak Semangat was awarded the contract in April, beating REDtone Network Sdn Bhd and i-Media Broadcasting Solutions Sdn Bhd, which had initially raised eyebrows as many did not see Puncak Semangat as having the expertise to carry out the large-scale project.
To that, Redzwan said he was proud the core team responsible for the project was local.
“We know that other operators in Southeast Asia are looking at us and how we implement this. So there is that added pressure to prove that we can do it,” he said.
At the time of writing, MyTV was in the midst of finalising 16 or 17 tender packages for different components of the project, which would be opened for bidding possibly as early as the end of this month.

BJCORP is an Asset Play, and not Earning Play. Investor buy BJCORP is because they see value in the asset, not for the recurring income.
If investor are looking for Recurring income, then they should go for Maxis, Digi, Dutch Lady, F&N...etc this type of company. These types of company are generating recurring income every quarter, but their Net Tangible Asset are only 20% of their market capital.

When invested in hidden gems stock like DIGISTA, patient is the key.
As long as the fundamental is good, the company is growing, the project is on track, your confidence should not be affected by the stock price.

Hi richman, the premium for Able-wa is very high. Maybe you should look at DIGISTA-WA. The current price is only RM0.195, Mother Price is RM0.305, and exercise price is only RM0.13.
If you take RM0.305 - RM0.13, the value for Digista-WA is RM0.175. You only pay extra RM0.02 to enjoy the time of approximate 2.5 years (it only expired on Year 2017).
Beside that, Digista has successfully turnaround, their first property project worth RM150mil, will be completed by end of this year. Beside that, they also get awarded the Government Construction project of RM250mil on last year September. This two project will get Digista busy until year 2016.
Lastly, please look at the balance sheet of Digista, Digista has approx RM250mil cash in their account, and this RM250mil was actually a bond issue by Digista, and guarantee by UOB Bank.
If you are familiar with banking operation, you should know Singapore Bank - UOB Bank are very careful when they provide any guarantee to bond. RM250mil is a very huge amount for a small company like Digista, and UOB willing to provide gurantee on the bond, this proof that UOB are very confidence in Digista's future development plan.

Frankly speaking, GSB GROUP is much better than this ABLEGROUP. At least GSB has already launched its project, and GSB got few pieces of land for further development.
My advise is:-
1) For those who already hold AbleGroup, tomorrow morning is the time to sell.
2) For those who interested with AbleGroup, please wait until next week only buy (I'm quite sure you can pick some cheap stock during T-4).

1) RM250mil Alor Gajah JKR Training Centre construction project;
2) Pinewood Studio project;
3) Panther 911 - The MLM model are still in the midst of planning. Once it is ready, the Panther911 will sell like a hot cake (just like the COway water filter machine).
4) Police or Sabah CCTV project (coming soon)
5) DTTB project - Digistar used to be the company who help Astro to convert from Analog to Digital Transmission. Currently, Digistar is tendering for the contract from Puncak Semangat.

I'm sure a lot of people heard about this quote "Don't put all your eggs in one basket".
For many people, this quote is for risk management.
But for me, this quote is for expectation management.
If you invest all your money into one stock, and you expect the stock will be raise. Then you will feel sad or down if the stock go down.
But if you invest in few stocks, you spread your expectation into many stocks. Sometime this one disappointed, sometime that one give you surprise, this week this counter drop, next week that counter raise.
So you life will be more balance, and your emotion will be more stable.

Don't worry, market is irrational, good news doesn't mean it will up, bad news also doesn;t mean it will drop.
You see, SAMUDRA post very good result, EPS per quarter is 36sen, I expect it will limit up today, like what happened last time on GPHAROS, but share price still stagnant at 52sen.
So same applied to GPHAROS, don;t worry, price will be stagnant, it wont limit down.

Does it means the quarter result is not good, and those insiders (director, director relative, accountant, auditor, auditor's frens) start throwing their share first?
Or this is a trick to shake the confidence level of the investor, so some investor might throw some share first (either take profit or cut loss), and those insider can collect more at lower price.

Quarter report expected loss making... it is expected, so when you see loss, please do not panic.
Because many cost has been incurred on May and June, before they launch the G-residence on July.
But next quarter result should be very good, due to the great sales on G-Residence, and the one-off revaluation gain on property.

If we referring to Q1 and Q2 revenue, you can see there is an significant increase in the revenue.
Q1 revenue was RM8 mil++
Q2 revenue was RM19 mil++
As per Q2 financial report, it mentioned that the heritage melaka project was at 45% completion status. So now for Q3 (as at 30 June 2014), I believe at least another 15%-20% works has been done during that quarter.
Let takes 15%, 15% of RM150 mil was RM22mil. Since the project only sold out 70%, so we only take RM22mil x 70% = RM15mil.
Just from the property development sector alone, it has already contribute RM15mil revenue.
If I assume other sector (system intergration + trading) contribute another RM10mil, the Q3 result will have at least RM25 mil revenue.
With RM25mil revenue, I believe Digistar can have at least RM3mil net profit.

There is a good article that published in The Star in few months ago.
There are few points that you should take note:-
1) Potential CCTV project in Sabah East Coast
2) Dato Wira confidence that Digistar can be a Top 100 company in terms of market Capitalisation
3) The Heritage Melaka Service Apartment has been sold out 70%, and the GDV of the entire project is RM150mil
4) The Heritage Hotel will be opening by end of this year, that mean starting in Year 2014, Digistar will have new stream of recurring income.
5) The profit margin for National Advance Technology Centre will be at least double digits (i.e. 15% of RM250mil)
Digistar CEO upbeat about turnaround plan!!
In addition, the police force is also looking at the installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at resorts and islands off Sabah’s east coast.
Last week, the police was reported to have asked Digistar to send them a proposal on installing the ‘Panther 911’ security system in Sabah.
The Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said to have the system linked directly to police stations would help security forces respond faster.
Khalid said the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) was planning to place security teams at 11 private resorts and islands that were the furthest away from Semporna and Lahad Datu. This was in light of recent killing and kidnapping events highlighted in the news.
If successful in this tie-up with the police, it would be Digistar’s first collaboration with the public sector for its CMS business. Right now, its target is on the mass market and commercial buildings.
Entering the Sabah market would not come as a surprise as Lee has always wanted to expand into Sabah and Sarawak.
That would be the second phase of Digistar’s security system business and the company estimates another RM5mil of investments for the expansion in the next two years. However, Lee notes that there needs to be better Internet connectivity in order for Internet-based surveillance systems to thrive in the country.
Digistar has a few competitors in the local CMS space.
But it seeks to differentiate itself by the attractive features of its system.
Digistar’s Panther 911 CMS system offers 24-hour monitoring services via an internet protocol-based platform. It can switch to run on 3G, 4G and LTE networks during power disruptions.
Banking on property sector
Lee says the company has plans to be among the top 100 companies in Malaysia in terms of market capitalisation in the next five years.
To do that, Lee says the company needs to further expand its property business. For Lee, property is Digistar’s next phase of growth as he opined that the growth trajectory for an ICT company has its boundaries.
“We are still focused on our ICT business but to achieve bigger goals, we will expand our property division,” he says. “We are looking for pockets of land around the Klang Valley now for small scale projects.”
Digistar already has a serviced apartment project in Malacca called The Heritage, with a gross development value of RM150mil. It is already 70% sold and is targeted to be opened this November.
Lee says the company intends to rent out the remaining 30% of apartments for recurring income.
“We plan to rent out like a hotel.
“The project will be a ‘condotel’, a combination of condominium and hotel,” he says.
Digistar is already speaking to hospitality partners to rope in for the management of the hotel component at The Heritage.
The company has also a 15-year concession for the construction and asset management of the Malaysian National Technology Advancement Centre in Alor Gajah, Malacca.
The project is a tie-up with the Works Ministry for the minstry to carry out training programmes for engineers and architects.
Its concession consists of RM174mil for the construction of facilities and infrastructure, and RM66mil for the provision of ICT and lab equipment.
Lee says the margins for this project would likely be in the double-digit range as well.
Digistar is also in talks to develop its telecommunications segment as it owns three individual licenses from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to provide network and facilities services for five years.
Lee says discussions are on-going and declined to reveal any details.
All these efforts, says Lee, are aimed at steering the company back into profitability.
For the 2013 financial year (FY13), Digistar made a net loss of RM11mil compared to a profit of RM6mil in FY12.
The company had said that the loss was due to a higher operating cost, commencement of projects where revenue was yet to be recognised as well as the business expansion for its CMS and telecommunications divisions. Lee reckons that Digistar’s CMS as well as other initivatives would help turnaround the company and generate long-term recurring income.

As per Dato's statement on May 2014, all the commercial retail unit have been fully sold out, and the service apartment unit was 70% sold out. I think the balance 30% are bumi-lot, so it is quite common for the industry. Dato said that they might not intend to sell the balance unit, as the whole building will be used to operate as a hotel, so he is comfortable to retain the balance unit, as this can generate higher recurring income for the company.

Hi all, kindly note that Digistar's 1st property project in Melaka has reached 90% completion.
Now they are painting the wall of the building, and it targeted to be 100% completed on November 2014.
I been to Melaka to visit that property before, it is located exactly beside the Dataran Pahlawan. From the lobby of the service apartment, you need to walk 50 steps, then you reach Dataran Pahlawan.
I still remember last time when Digistar first annouce this project, I looked at the small piece of land, and wondering how can they build a high rise building in this small piece of land. But now, the beautiful service apartment is stand in front of me, and it really look very nice (that why they change the name from "The heritage" to "Imperial Heritage:).

Pembinaan Gejati is just a small company with 100,000 paid up capital.
Subsequently, Pembinaan Gejati issue 136,900,000 new share directly to SAB. To subscribe for this new share, SAB has to inject RM136,900,000 cash into Pembinaan Gejati.
So now, Pembinaan become a direct subsidiary of SAB (99%), and balance of 1% is owned b SPDC.
I'm not a corporate finance expert, can anyone tell me why Pembinaan Gejati want to issue 136,900,000 directly to SAB? What is the purpose of enlarge it paid up capital?
Appreciate if we can have more expert come to contribute their opinion.

Alpha Trader, very good analysis.. Can you give a look to TADMAX, this company is quite similar to SAMUDRA, as it has dispose a piece of land to 1MDB, and the disposal should register an one-off gain of RM few hundred million.. This could double the the stock price.

Many people don't like DIgistar, because the share price always one day show.
Many people don;t like Digistar, because they saw the company revenue and profit drop substantially for the past 2 years.
Many people don;t like Digistar, because they saw the share price drop from 60 cents to lowest 20 cents.
But if you understand their business nature, you will know why the revenue drop.
1) Their business is booming on year 2010-2011, where Astro Measat has spent a lot of money to upgrade their broadcast system. At that time, Digistar has secured a lot of project, and the profit margin is very good.
2) However, once ASTRO completed the system upgrade process, Digistar has suddenly facing the problem of no more project. According to the government plan, byright the DTTB project for RTM should be awarded since Year 2012. However, it has been delay until 2014.
3) Without any broadcasting project, Digistar has no choice but to diversified into other businesses.
4) Dato Wira is born in Melaka, and Dato predicted that Melaka property will be booming, and therefore Digistar has venture into property development business.The 1st project was a Service Apartment named "The Heritage". The selling price of this project is relatively high (it mean good profit margin), and Digistar managed to sold out 70% (balance 30% was due to Bumi Quota, and Digistar plan to keep it for recurring income (because the entire building will become a Hotel).
6) Subsequently, it secured a RM240million government construction project. It will build a building at Melaka for JKR, and it will received rental from JKR for a period of 15 years. This is a very good project with very good cash flow and profit margin for 15 years, that why UOB Bank has provide guarantee to the RM280million bond issued by Digistar. This RM280million bond has obtained the Grade AA1 from RAM, and many institution are very keen to subscribed for it.
7) Furthermore, it has secure some new project from Iskandar Pinewood Studio, as well as the Istana Johor updrade project.
8) Beside that, it has venture into the CCTV CMS project, named Panther 911. DIgistar has partnership with a Ireland company, to develop the CMS technology for Malaysia base customer. It has also collaborate with Digi Telecommunication to provide the 3G wireless for it CCTV CMS project. Panther 911 also being selected as one of the SAFECAM partner for PDRM.
