Its price was RM8.75 in Jan 2020 and almost Rm10 in late 2019. Best dividend paying bank...better hold longer term for dividend and capital appreciation.

Many who got stuck with this share at high price for past 5 years during its suspension take opportunities to sell or liquidate their stock holding.

Vaccines if have next June or later, those not infected will not or dare not get injected, wait and see first to see any side effects and also scare to travel for anothef 6 months or so. Only those seriously infected with covid 19 will ho for injection, no choice or to die. At least till 2022, things may turn better.

Very sure cmco will continue after December for a long time. When no cmco or covid 19, parties against present PM will press and push for fresh General Election. No covid 19, can restart politiking again to change government. Simple logic.

Dow Jones down 943 points. Confidence of economu recovery low due to serious 2nd or 3rd wave of covid 19 in Europe and US (80k new cases yesterday). Perhaps market feels Trump (good for stock market it seems so) will lose on 3 Nov. Very long haul for casino and travel businesses, no douby about this.

Sharefisher, i too some money in banks stocks instead earning their miserable FD rate. If not for their better dividend yield (hopefully declare end FY), some chance of capital appreciation in 1 or 2 years time. Safe old man stocks as they say. Averaging needs bullets and holding power.

Sometimes bettet not to keep on buying to average down as one may soon run out of bullets. Better to cut loss and sell and hopefully wait to buy back iit later when it ever drops much lower. Or move to other counters. Have very bad experience in averaging down as never know when i will rebound. After buying 30 lots, price down, scared and then buy 5 lots when price down. The averaged price is not significant unless you buy more, say 10 of 20 lots. Then your increase your holding more. How to keep on averaging down unless u have lits of money.
