Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has publicly reprimanded and fined two
stockbrokers - Ng Soo Ging and Jeremy Hiew Jian Chang - for engaging in
manipulative dealing activities on separate occasions.
 Bursa Malaysia Securities pointed out that Ng - who was fined RM380,000
- was found to have engaged in manipulative dealing activities on three
counters, namely, GPRO Technologies Bhd, Industronics Bhd and
MNC Wireless Bhd. Hiew - who was fined RM30,000 - was found to
engaging in manipulative dealing activities in five counters – Greenyield
Bhd, Sersol Technologies Bhd, K-One Technology Bhd, Instacom
Group Bhd warrants and Pasukhas Group Bhd.
 It said that Ng and Hiew had contravened and/or triggered the provisions of
Rules 401.1(3), 404.3(1)(a)&(c) and 1302.1(1)(a)&(g) of the pre-revamped
rules of Bursa. Ng was a commissioned dealer’s representative of Maybank
Investment Bank Bhd at its the Klang branch, while Hiew was a salaried
dealer’s representative of HwangDBS Investment Bank Bhd at its principal
