Ok you clarified my doubts. I agree that there is not much growth in construction etc. Property development profits in the future will determine the rise in the price of this stock but that will take time. TQ

from an overview point of view at first I thought it was undervalued but after some research on the landbank and book value of the land undergoing development currently, I found out that there is not much value to gain this year UNLESS something happened this year where they acquired another 300mil worth of undeveloped land because in Dec. FY 13, the price to book value was around 1 and now it is around 0.7 and I am not sure where the extra 300 mil book value came from. IF that 300mil which I cannot identify (no news, maybe insiders only know, or maybe I missed out) is a landbank undergoing massive development then there could be some value to this stock. But the cash of 100mil vs borrowings of 300 mil is nothing impressive since it is not growing that fast...All I can say is maybe can BUY but do not expect the value to move that fast as it may take some time.

However I would appreciate if anyone has extra information on the story of the company's recent prospects which are not in the annual report.

Anyways for those who are long in Brahims you will be fairly compensated because revenue from sugar business will stream in early next year. Obviously the 8.11 tp is not something which occurs overnight, it can take years or even as quick as a year but obviously wealth is built in time and yes Bonia's current price is still cheap and the product sales are doing very well. Just wait for their Y-to-Y results end of this month and you will know. Most of you ah bengs only care about short term gains and you all do not think like investors. You don't think it will hit RM8? Both also good..I think growth will be similar. Keep for one year from now till May 2015 and expect anywhere from 20-40% capital gain. Uzma is riskier than Bonia because damn illiquid but may produce slightly higher returns.
