Alexchin , my humble opinions as below:

1) Not significant. EPF only long 200k shares on 1 Sep (announcement on 6 Sep16)
2) Pending on SKPETRO 2Q17 result.
3) Many analysts are target RM 150-200mil FYE 2017. Too conservative guidance by mgmt, despite 1Q17 RM110mil net profit.
4) Buy when people fear/ panic. I believe oil and gas will run in long run.
5) Warren Buffett, Singapore Termasik, etc also start acquired in O&G assets. Why?

In March 2016 , Sparrows Group landed a five-year contract with Statoil’s Mariner development in the North Sea to deliver cranes and maintenance services.

2) The contract could be extended to nine years under certain options.

3) Sparrows Group earlier this month signed a deal with SPIE Oil & Gas Services to work in Africa.

With the cessation of the RSC, which will be effective on 30th September 2016, Petronas will reimburse all outstanding capital and operational expenditures to the contractors by June 2017.

As part of the arrangement, the ownership of Berantai FPSO will be transferred to Petronas.
