Today busy day. One PLC seems to be badly run and doesn’t seem to have a working official phone number (search my first post today here in i3…. incredible for a PLC, man, jeez). And then had to drive to PD for work involving two PLCs

Skoh… I closed and open shops today. Not terribly busy with this coz it’d been planned with my remisier but the above took out a lotta time today. Both are okay tho

You guys should read Skoh’s repeated window dressing comments these past few days. He’s saying the same thing I said last week regarding end of another quarter and the beginning of second half of the year

This, of course, applies throughout Bursa. Just ignore all those nonsensical PLCs that somehow remain listed because they just have backers with money (and ignorant bilis) that meet SC requirements

I know it’s not easy. It’s not easy to have money. To buy stuff. To have a significant trade limit to buy various counters. Not easy. Believe me I know. Way back from trading US options (I made and made and made with puts on FB and calls on VLO and SPDR but I was inexperienced and when I broke even I decided to quit coz the time difference constraints were too stressful)

For TSH, my EP is 1.07 just over a week ago when I posted I entered due to TA. I’m lucky I didn’t buy when plantations were scaling Everest because, like I also posted before, I mentioned I thot plantation should be reaching a plateau weeks/months ago in a Telegram chat (PM me if interested; note I didn’t start that group). Btw if you look at the Top 10 properties in TSH’s AR, they are listed according to NBV (highest to lowest). I assume most here understand what NBV of a real estate means and hoe it is calculated

There is one real estate asset not in their Top 10. Obviously it means that particular asset’s NBV fail to meet the Top 10 assets NBVs

And I am certain TSH is extremely unlikely to sell that particular asset even if there are reasonably good offers…

Revaluation profits are paper gains reflected in balance sheet and I don’t know a single PLC that gives special divs based solely on revaluation gains. Look at some of the REITs; quite a number show net revaluation surplus y-o-y but all this really does is it shows to the shareholders and would-be investors that the PLC bought good properties to begin with

My TP is the price I am happy to sell at and either move on or buy again, Skoh!!! Never ask me what is the exact TP for any of my positions bcoz I’ll never mention a specific price!

It’s actually 2 physically separate plots (not adjoining), near the sea. They are located to the north east of proposed new Nusantara capital of Indonesia and *roughly* the distance between Ipoh and Singapore

The “problem” is that quite a few PLCs have been actively seeking avenues to reduce their debt. Namely bank borrowings. Another (or two) rate hike is very certain this year unless companies choose to absorb costs instead of passing on to folks like us. It’s tough, they don’t wanna get their (comfortable) shareholders to complain

Many PLCs steadfastly refuse to sell some of their real estate assets even though owning real estate incur various costs (bank payments, factory maintenance personnel salaries, software upgrades… many costs in owning real estate)

And so these PLCs do corporate exercises to raise funds. IOW they want your money to pay their banks

There are a few other considerations for these PLCs. You just gotta pick the right one. Read the numbers. Often times, it’s VERY important to read the intonations…..

TSH is doing something that should be good for them as a company. I already said before I don’t particularly like their assets…

EGM should be a breeze with a few that have doubts (mostly coz they’re unhappy with share price as well as labour issues). Remember I posted here that another quarter is ending, second half of the year is starting and there are scrambles behind the scenes for PLCs for their books

Just go and check the day I posted here when I said I made my move for my stated reason. That reason wasn’t the only reason
