Texchem RSI has weakened. The sale today kept wiping out new buy queues. Finished selling to 5 buy bids and kept selling to new fresh buy bids. BUT there are still believers (eg. some that bought tens of thousands of units today during the drop)

They bought Utusan’s printing plant in Bangi. I’ve been there due to biz with Utusan a few years ago (before liquidation). It’s 15-acres with a pretty substantial amount of empty land (which, I assume, caught Genetec’s eye). Genetec will have to spend money demolishing VERY strong built-in printing machinery on the site. This is the second real estate purchase this year after the acquisition of an asset in a prominent PJ location

If there are still some investor here that thinks Genetec (2 smallish factories in Malaysia, not very healthy financially except for its founder that supports it) is a battery supplier for Tesla, please know that Tesla is currently happy enough with PANAMY’s battery supply for their giga factories. It may change….. Elon is forever working….

Overall Texchem is a very healthy company financially. Their assets trounce their liabilities. This has been the case for years. They’re keeping their RM100M cash to expand their multiple businesses. I’m certain they have good relations with their bankers coz I’d like their bank borrowings to reduce (altho gearing is decent)

They may perform some exercise to bump up their equity esp wrt non-controlling shareholders. Reserves are decent. I think a BI is in the works but what do I know…

Believe you me, my livelihood isn’t in stock trading/investment. I’m in an industry where serious businessmen are far more interested in what I may say or ask them compared to a person that makes money from solely trading shares. What I do for a living has to do with what we all walk on every minute

Answer my question : With high borrowings and high debtors coupled with factories in Klang (and not Shah Alam) plus worrying leverage (equity less than liabilities), I would greatly appreciate your insights on what truly matters (instead of wading thru a mud of strangers here).
