Talking about research from Broker.
RM3.40 in Feb16 and RM4.19 in May16.

If the profit is growing, research reports always revise upward the target price. But sometimes the price move faster than the research.

Very rare research give 100% upside, they will give about 20%, justify by PE ratio, then will revise.

It reminds me of one case, 6 or 7 years ago. Can't remember the stock and the figures but i simulate below...

EPS Y1 0.10
EPS Y2 0.11
EPS Y3 0.20

Current price RM1.00
The target price is only RM1.10 based on 10 times (EPS 0.11) one year forward PE ratio.

Then I ask the analyst one question, after one year, based on forward PE ratio of 10 times and EPS of RM0.20, fair value RM2.00 ? The answer is yes.

I was thinking then why not put a fair value of RM1.40 or RM1.50 ? Once we cross calendar year, fair value suddenly jump almost 100%.
