Lets see hng33 will hold until the quarter report released.

treat this as big correction. After that no more gamblers like hng33 and the share price will continue to up with increasing net profit in Q4.

hng33, what is your cost? Why promote so hard just to gain few cents?

I also having around 10% paper loss. It is not fair to say any sifu's recommendation not correct. This is market sentiment not good. I believe OTB sifu will buy more on Masteel as the fundamental is getting better and PE become attractive. I will continue to buy from 1.46 until I use up all the bullets. Cheers!

if you identified Masteel as good counter, now with bonus issue you will have more share holding. If company continue to perform better and better and the sky is limit, eventually you will have very good profit with more share holding. That's the reason people happy with bonus issue (although the price adjusted on ex-date but SKY IS THE LIMIT!).

when you said the price is too high, you should refer to the share eps and pe. masteel has increasing profit and pe less than 10.is this really considered price too high?

Most of retailers already sold Masteel and go goreng oil & gas stocks. The market makers can easily push up the price if they want..

I almost can confirm Q4 has highest profit. Here is the estimation: 

The Average selling price mix of standard and premium grade rebar is rm2506 per MT (Q3= rm2445) 

Cost of Sale per MT = rm2124 (Q3= rm2204), consist of following: 
1. Scrap Cost= rm1548 (1.11 MT of steel scrap to make 1MT rebar) 
2. Electrode= rm124.6 (USD 30) 
3. Oxygen, Ferroalloys, Fluxes, Refractories= rm130.9 (USD=31.52) 
4. Electricity, Labour, Rolling Cost and other cost= rm320.4 

Thus, assuming sales of 160,000 MT in Q4, gross profit = (2506-2124)*160,000 = rm61.12 mil 
Deduct operating Expenses 12.0mil, Finance Cost 5.0mil, the net profit is 44.12mil assuming no Forex gains. 

With number of share 313mil, the EPS (Q4) = 14.1 sen which is higher than Q3. 
12month EPS is 34.33 sen. 
PE8 = 2.75 
PE10 = 3.43 
PE12 = 4.12 

For 2018 Q1, the average selling price is > rm2700 for 3 weeks. It might be another fantastic results delivery too.

Just make a guess.. someone talk bad on this stock so that his fund manager can buy cheaper for him..

Hello Mr. Ooi, why are you saying that you feel guilty for recommending this stock? Your followers losing money now is just a temporary thing in my honest opinion. This stock is undervalued, plus the Masteel Boss also want 3:1 bonus share...

Shortage for small size rebar.. this is very good news for Masteel as its rolling mills located at Bukit Raja is specifically produce premium size (Y10,Y12) rebar.
Masteel must be very busy now as "shortage" means demand > supply.
